Project introduction
(Shangqiu-Dengfeng Expressway) is a new expressway planning project in "expressway Network Planning Adjustment". Shangdeng Expressway starts from the west side of Shangqiu City, connects with Lianhuo Expressway, and sets up a main toll station, which intersects with the provincial highway S325. It is connected to Daguang Expressway, Lannan Expressway, Planning Machine Expressway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and Yao Zheng Expressway in the west, and Lu Zheng Expressway in Dengfeng City in the east, with a total length of about 222 kilometers, in order to realize Henan 2060. Shangdeng Expressway starts from Dengfeng and runs parallel to Lianhuo Expressway to the east, so it is also called "Lianhuo Expressway Double Line". It passes through Zhengzhou Airport Port Area, reaches Shangqiu to the east, and connects with Lianhuo Expressway in the southwest of liangyuan district, Shangqiu City.
After completion, it will form a double track with Zheng Shaoluo Expressway and Luo Lu Expressway to divert the traffic pressure of Lianhuo Expressway. At the same time, it is interconnected with Zheng Shaoluo Expressway, Yao Zheng Expressway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and Lannan Expressway. After the completion of Shangdeng Expressway, expressway Network, together with Daguang Expressway, Lannan Expressway, Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and Yao Zheng Expressway, has improved the road network layout in central Henan, which has played a positive role in consolidating and upgrading Zhengzhou's position as a comprehensive transportation hub and improving the access depth and service level of expressway.

The recommended route of this project starts at the junction of Shangqiu and Kaifeng, Arvin (K60+640), and ends at Shangqiu section of Shangdeng Expressway, extending westward and entering Qixian County, Kaifeng City. The route runs parallel along the south side of the provincial road S325, intersects with the national road G 106 on the south side of Xingkou Town, and an overpass is set as the entrance and exit of Qixian County. Passing through the south of Sumu Township, passing through Qixian County at K80+270 in the south of Shawo Township,19.63km..
After entering Tongxu County, the route continues to the west, crossing Xiaoqing River in the south of Louzhuang, intersecting Daguang Expressway in the north of Yin Gang, and setting up an interchange hub; South of Houbaigang crosses the old channel of the Wohe River, west of Qianbaigang intersects with provincial highway S326, and south of Huang Zhuang intersects with provincial highway S2 18, and an overpass is set as the entrance and exit of Tongxu County. Then it crosses Huijiaqu, successively crosses county road X022 and Suncheng River in Wanzhai North, crosses Wohe River in Wangying North, crosses Qi Chao railway from vertical post to Fugou branch line between Sunzhuang and Xiaolian, crosses Qi Chao railway in the southwest of vertical post, and then walks 28.62km southeast of Dingjia at K 108+890.
After entering Weishi County, the route continues to the west, crossing the provincial highway S325 in Dingjiabei, and crossing the Rinan Expressway in Wujianan, setting up a hub. It passes between Xiaowuzhuang and Kongjia, Fushangbei, Cristina Guo and Liu Zhuang, crosses southwest, and intersects with the northwest provincial highway S2 19 of Yinzhuang, and sets up an interchange as the entrance and exit of Weishi County. The route is southwest, passing through Liu Zhuang, Lei Jia, between Huang Zhai and Ma Bei, Jiahao, Liu Hou and Houzheng, and intersects with provincial highway S 102 at Huangjiaxi; Then the route is westward, passing between Buffalo Zhang and Hedong Zhou, between Xiaojiangjia and Taxi Zhou, south, intersecting with the new national road G 107 planned in the northeast of Zhanzhuang, and reserving the interchange exit; After that, it walked 42.30 kilometers to the finish line at K 15 1+ 190 in the northwest of Hu Jia.
The total length of the route is 90.55km；; Among them, Qixian County 19.63km, Tongxu County, 28.62km and Weishi County, 42.30km.

It is understood that going to expressway is a planned implementation project of "expressway Network Planning Adjustment Plan", with a total length of about 222 kilometers. In order to facilitate the project construction management, it is divided into three sections according to the administrative divisions of prefecture-level cities, among which the groundbreaking ceremony from Xinzheng Airport to Weishi and Xinzheng Airport to Dengfeng was held on June 29th, 20 12.
Among them, the Shangqiu section of Shangdeng Expressway is about 6 1.94km long and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 20 15. After the completion of Shangdeng Expressway, together with Zheng Shaoluo Expressway and Luo Lu Expressway, it will form a double track of Lianhuo Expressway in Henan Province, and assume the function of diverting the traffic pressure of Lianhuo Expressway. After the whole line of Shangdeng Expressway is opened to traffic, it can go directly from Shangqiu to Xinzheng International Airport and Dengfeng.
According to the relevant person in charge of Henan Jiaotou Group, with the completion of Shangdeng Expressway, Henan will further expand the radiation range of Xinzheng Airport, form a convenient passage between Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Shangqiu and their counties (cities, districts) and Xinzheng International Airport, and greatly shorten the expressway mileage between Pingdingshan, Nanyang, Luoyang, Sanmenxia and Xinzheng International Airport, which will play an immeasurable role in promoting economic development along the route and even the construction of the Central Plains Economic Zone.
