The tour guide words of Yuyuan Scenic Area and Longhua Scenic Area are all about 3 minutes.

The gate of Longhua Temple is a granite archway with six pillars and five floors. Five gates are located on the top of the mountain. This door is solemn, so we went to see his house. We've always heard the idiom "a match made in heaven", so who knows what it means? As we all know, that household refers to the outstanding infrastructure under the door. Generally, it is to lay a solid foundation, but some people build this household in luxury to show off their financial resources. That's how it happened. The entrance of Longhua Temple is five doors, which has three meanings: First, the Ming emperor gave Longhua Temple a forehead seal, and Longhua Temple enjoyed royal architectural specifications; Second, it embodies the philosophy of China's ancient Yin-Yang and Five Elements (Jin Mu's fire, water and earth); The third is to represent the southeast, the west and the north, which means the whole world, not the Buddha land.

In the middle of the entrance to Longhua Temple, there is a large gold plaque with a red background. The word "Longhua" in the official script is vigorous and powerful, and it is written by a calligrapher. The word "Longhua" has an enlarged golden seal, which was given by Emperor Wanli of Ming Shenzong and is one of the "Three Treasures of Town Temple". In the golden seal, "the treasure seal of Longhua Temple was given by Qin Chengentang". There is a circular relief "Three Lions Playing Ball" under the gold seal, and the outer frame of the big plaque is carved with Kowloon, which is solemn and powerful.

The second and fourth foreheads on the front of the mountain gate are engraved with inscriptions such as "Jiangnan Ancient Temple" and "Leading People to Walk". The font is fresh and elegant, written by calligrapher Tang Qigen. Longhua Temple is the earliest temple in Shanghai, so it is called "Ancient Temple in the South of the Yangtze River". Brake is the most broken part of the stupa, and the banner in the temple is also called brake. "Brake" is synonymous with the temple. When Buddha Sakyamuni appointed Maitreya as the "heir", 12 years later, Maitreya died and ascended to heaven, and went to practice. Longhua Temple is the Dojo of Maitreya Buddha, so it is called "human pocket rate". On the second stone pillar on the east side of the mountain gate, the couplet inscribed by Zhao Puchu, the former president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, "Feeling the Road and Enlightening Longhua, Watching the Seven Towers and Waves, Harmony in Nine Days, Bells in Ten Miles, Vast and Boundless; I believe in doing good, and I hope that the eight seas will be rich, hundreds of millions of people will be happy and versatile, just like Maitreya. " . The "enlightenment" in the first half refers to Buddhism, which makes Longhua Temple a place of Buddhism and spreads to all directions. "Harmony Law" is the Tianmen and Gongmen in myths and legends. "Yan Fu" means the hell of death and disaster in human society. Maitreya's "afterlife" refers to Maitreya's "Longhua Sanhui", in which * * * 28.2 billion people became arhats. This is "gathering sages into one episode". The couplet wrote that this couplet was written in "2500 years of Buddhist calendar". The Buddhist Calendar is a calendar for counting years in Buddhism. Buddhism regards the year when Sakyamuni died as the first year of the Buddhist calendar. Southern Buddhism said that the Buddha died in 544 BC, so "Buddha calendar 2500 years" minus 544 is the year 1996. The couplet is signed "Sambo disciple Zhao Puchu", which refers to Buddhism, Buddhism and monks.

Now we come to the first temple, Maitreya Hall. Because Longhua is the Dojo of Maitreya, the first entrance is Maitreya Hall, which is different from other temples. The Maitreya Hall is a single-eaved mountain-resting style, with a pair of stone lions squatting on both sides of the door to ward off evil spirits and show majesty. Shishi is a left man and a right woman. For the king of beasts. There are sculptures of phoenix and peony on the pedestal where the lion crouches. Phoenix is the king of birds and peony is the king of flowers, so it is called the Three Kings Lion. There are a pair of stone lanterns on each side of the stone lion, with Mount Sumi as the base and a lantern pavilion at the top, symbolizing the light of Buddhism and the legend of Buddhist lanterns. There is a brick carving of "Nine Lions" (the homonym of saving the world) on the front wall of Maitreya Hall, and a brick carving of Kirin as a gift on the back wall of the hall.

When you step into the Maitreya Hall, you will see a smiling and topless Maitreya-a cloth bag monk. Maitreya translated Chinese into cishi, so the records of Maitreya Temple in Buddhist scriptures all highlight his virtue of "kindness". The statues of Maitreya in Buddhist temples are all devoted to the word kindness, especially the exaggeration used by pregnant Maitreya, which makes people feel happy immediately. In the Heavenly King Hall of Longhua Temple, the man named "Tianguan Maitreya" wore five Buddha hats, which is the real figure of his practice in heaven. At present, his professional title is Bodhisattva, which is different from Manjusri Bodhisattva, Pu Xian Mahayana Bodhisattva, Guanyin Compassionate Bodhisattva, Earth Treasure King Dayuan Bodhisattva and Maitreya Compassionate Bodhisattva. There are real Maitreya statues in Sean Temple, Lingyan Temple in Suzhou, Guangji Temple in Beijing and Xuedou Temple in Fenghua. Of course, the real image was also translated from Brahma to China.
