Du Xiang expressway has a planned total length of 890 kilometers, which is roughly east-west. It passes through Guizhou Province (duyun city-Huishui County-Anshun City is not yet open to traffic), Zhaotong City of Sichuan Province (Jinyang County, Xichang City and Yanyuan County) and Yunnan Province (Ninglang Yi Autonomous County and Shangri-La City).
The main control points in expressway, Du Xiang are Duyun, Huishui, Anshun, Zhenning, Liuzhi, Liupanshui, Weining, Zhaotong, Jinyang, Xichang and Shangri-La.
