Requirements for marriage and family counselors to apply for the exam

(1) A first-class marriage and family counselor (one who meets one of the following conditions):

1, having worked in this major for more than 3 years after obtaining the second-class professional qualification certificate of this major;

2. After obtaining the bachelor's degree certificate of relevant major, he has been engaged in this occupation or related occupations for more than 13 years;

3. Have a master's degree or doctor's degree certificate in related major, and have been engaged in this occupation or related occupation for more than 10 years. Note: Related majors refer to sociology, law, ethics, psychology, education, women's studies, sexual medicine, social work, ideological and political education, etc.

(2) Two marriage and family counselors (meeting one of the following conditions):

1. Having worked in this profession for more than 4 years after obtaining the third-class vocational qualification certificate of this profession;

2. Having been engaged in this occupation for more than 4 years after obtaining the bachelor's degree certificate of relevant major;

3. Have a bachelor's degree certificate in related major, and have been engaged in this occupation for more than 3 years after obtaining the third-class vocational qualification certificate;

4. After obtaining a master's degree or above in related majors, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years.

(3) A third-level marriage and family counselor (one who meets one of the following conditions):

1, college degree or above in related major;

2. Have a college degree or above in other majors and engage in this occupation 1 year or above;

3, with other professional college degree or above, to participate in formal training to reach the required hours, and passed the final exam.
