How did Shi win Jinan City?

Gui Li betrayed the Yuan Dynasty in Jinan and became king on his own. The Yuan court sent people to conquer many times, but they were all defeated. Kublai Khan had to order Shi to go to the battlefield in Jinan. Shi led a good soldier into Jinan. Li Gui led the army to hold on to Jinan City, and Shi said to his entourage, "The enemy will fail!" He knew that Gui Li's men were brave and good at fighting, and they were difficult to deal with. So we adopted the strategy of long-term siege. He ordered his men to dig deep ditches around the city to prevent the cavalry from escaping. The city is isolated. Four months later, Jinan ran out of food and grass, and the rebels sneaked out of the city to demand surrender. Gui Li was captured alive, and his generals opened the gate and demanded surrender. Shi won Jinan city without a single soldier, which won the appreciation of the emperor. It can be a general on the battlefield or a minister in the court-both civil and military.
