Wang Dahe's first official position was Jishi Shu. Because of his excellent literary skills and fair and beautiful calligraphy, he was elected as the training officer of imperial academy Ordinary Hall. After routine inspection and evaluation by the official department, he achieved excellent results. In less than three years, he was appointed as the editor of the Hanlin Academy, responsible for compiling and recording national history and historical records. For 9 consecutive years, he served as the examiner of Shuntianfu's three rural examinations, responsible for marking papers, giving opinions and recommending them to the examiner, thus recommending candidates in the final exam. For nine consecutive years, he served as the chief examiner and deputy examiner in Sichuan, Yunnan and Hunan provinces, responsible for marking papers, verifying rankings and reporting to the emperor. Later, he took over as the magistrate of Henan Province to study politics, and as an inspector's envoy, in parallel with the governor, the governor and other local military and political chiefs, supervised and assessed the scholars and young students of provincial government agencies (scholars who had not obtained scholars before). During his career of more than 20 years, he was widely praised for selecting outstanding talents everywhere in the county examination (the county magistrate presided over the scholar examination), the government examination (the examination for obtaining outstanding talents held by the government or Zhili prefecture and department), the rural examination as an examiner, and the study of politics.
He is noble in moral character, knowledgeable, broad-minded and far-reaching, and has great prestige in North Korea. Therefore, according to the emperor's will, the official department elected him as the official of Zhanshi House and the official of the residence, and went to the palace to give lectures on classics and history for the emperor. He was also the editor of the National History Museum, participated in the compilation of Qing history, and was also the dean of Xian 'an Palace. He was especially valued by Emperor Qianlong, and was appointed as the master of the upper study, teaching and tutoring the emperor's four sons, eight sons, eleven sons and four grandchildren.
Because his parents were old, he begged Emperor Qianlong to go home to support the elderly and was approved. Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty went to Zunhua Dongling to pay homage. When he stayed in Tongzhou City, he ordered the prince to visit his residence in person to show his concern and respect, and his treatment was higher than that of many officials. He is diligent and thrifty at home, is not extravagant, treats people with enthusiasm, kindness and generosity, often helps difficult and embarrassed families, encourages and recommends young and promising talents, and is deeply respected and loved in Tongzhou.
