The stations are initially identified as Xunfenggang, Hengsha, Shabei, Hesha, Tan Wei, Ruyi Square, Huangsha, Cultural Park, Yide Road, Haizhu Square, Beijing Road, Yuexiu South, Donghu, Dongshankou, Ouzhuang, Huanghuagang, Shuiyin Road, Shahe, Tianpingjia, Tang Yan, Tianhe Bus Terminal and Changba.

Line 8 starts from Fenghuang New Village, Industrial Avenue, Haizhu District in the west, passes through Xiaogang, and ends at Wanshengwei Station, Xingang East Road, Haizhu District in the east.
