Constitution of the International Federation of Yi Studies

Chapter I General Principles

Article 1 The name of this Association is IAICS.

Article 2 This Association is an international academic organization jointly established by academic groups and research institutions related to Yi-ology in various countries and regions.

Article 3 The purpose of this Association is to advocate scientific spirit and methods, promote the research and application of the original works of Yi-ology, carry out various academic activities of Yi-ology, carry forward the excellent traditions in Yi-ology culture, explore ways to combine Yi-ology thoughts with contemporary science, and promote the construction of human civilization. We don't engage in non-academic activities such as divination and fortune telling.

Article 4 When registering with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, an association shall abide by the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Associations and the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Civil Affairs on the management of associations.

Article 5 The permanent meeting place of this Association is located in Beijing, China. Registered address: Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, No.5 Jianguomen Inner Street, Beijing.

Chapter II Scope of Business

Article 6 The tasks of this Association are:

1. Hold international academic conferences on Yi-ology and organize international academic exchanges and cooperation on Yi-ology;

2. Editing and publishing academic works and materials of Yi-ology, editing and publishing international academic journals and information guides of Yi-ology;

3. Training simple and easy-to-learn knowledge; Develop the cause of Yi-ology;

4. Evaluate the academic achievements of Yi-ology and reward the outstanding.

Chapter III Members

Article 7 Academic organizations and research institutions in various countries and regions related to the Book of Changes may apply for membership as long as they agree with the purpose of the Association, participate in its activities and pay membership fees.

Article 8 The application for membership shall be submitted by the organization applying for membership to this Council, and it can become a member after being examined and approved by the Council.

Article 9 Rights of members:

1, have the right to vote, be elected and vote;

2. Participate in our work and use our facilities;

3. Have the right to supervise and advise the Association.

Article 10 Obligations of members:

1, abide by the Constitution and fulfill the promise;

2. Pay membership fees;

3. Report the situation, experience and problems of the development of Yi-ology in China and the region.

Article 11 If a member fails to pay the membership fee for one year, it shall be deemed as voluntary withdrawal. Members who withdraw from the meeting must notify this Council in writing.

Article 12. If a member seriously violates the Articles of Association, it shall be removed by voting of the board of directors.

Chapter IV Organizational Structure

Thirteenth members of the general assembly is the highest resolution body, the functions and powers of the general assembly are:

1, to formulate and modify the Articles of Association;

2. Election and removal of directors;

3. To consider and approve the work report of the Council and decide on the long-term work plan and various proposals;

4. Review the general budget and final accounts of the Association.

Article 14 This Association is an international academic organization. A general meeting of members can only be convened when more than 65,438+0/2 members are present, and its resolution can only take effect when more than half of the members present vote.

Article 15 The Council is the permanent resolution organ of the general meeting of members, and is responsible for the daily work of the Council when the general meeting is not in session.

Article 16 The functions of the Council are as follows:

1. Report the work to the general assembly and make suggestions;

2. Elect and recall the president, vice president, secretary general and treasurer;

3. Decide on the main business of the Association;

4. Plan and master the financial affairs of the Association;

5. Accept membership;

6. At the end of the general meeting, the Council shall serve as the general meeting.

Article 17 The board of directors shall be convened only when more than two thirds of the directors are present, and its resolutions shall take effect only when more than two thirds of the directors are present.

Article 18 The Association shall set up a standing council to preside over the work and perform the duties of the council when the council is not in session.

Article 19 The Standing Council of the Association shall be elected by the Council; The founding units of the Association are the Zhouyi Society of Korea and the Oriental International Institute of Yi Studies of China, both of which are permanent members with veto power.

Article 20 The Standing Council shall be convened only when more than two thirds of the executive directors are present, and its resolutions shall take effect only after being voted by more than two thirds of the executive directors present at the meeting.

Article 21 The president of this group is the legal representative of this group. The legal representative of this group does not concurrently serve as the legal representative of other groups.

Chapter V Honorary Presidents, Advisers and Honorary Directors

Article 22 The Association shall have an honorary president, an adviser and an honorary director. Honorary president, advisers and honorary directors are nominated by the president and hired by the Standing Council.

Article 23 The task of honorary president, consultant and honorary director is to give guidance, consultation and various support to the work of this Association.

Chapter VI Implementing Agencies

Article 24 The president, vice-president, secretary-general and treasurer are the executive bodies of this Association. Candidates are nominated by the Standing Council and elected by the Council. The president is responsible for convening the Council and the Standing Council.

Twenty-fifth under the leadership of the Standing Council, the Secretary General presided over the daily work; The treasurer is responsible for raising, managing and supervising the use of funds.

Article 26 The term of office of an executive organ is four years, and it can be re-elected.

Chapter VII Meeting

Article 27 The general meeting of members shall be held every four years.

Twenty-eighth plenary meeting of directors is held every two years, presided over by the president. At the request of the executive director or more than half of the directors, the president may convene an interim standing council or council.

Article 29 The Standing Council shall be convened once a year, and it may also be convened by means of communication under special circumstances.

Chapter VIII Economic Expenses

Article 30 The fund income of this Association includes admission fee, annual membership fee, sponsorship, donation and other lawful income.

Thirty-first special enterprise funds may be established when necessary, and the specific operation shall be stipulated separately.

Article 32 The funds of this group must be used for the business scope and career development as stipulated in the articles of association, and shall not be distributed among members.

Article 33 The Group shall establish a strict financial management system to ensure the legality, truthfulness, accuracy and completeness of accounting data.

Article 34 The Group is equipped with accountants with professional qualifications. Accounting personnel shall not concurrently serve as cashiers. Accountants must conduct accounting and exercise accounting supervision. When an accountant transfers his job or leaves his post, he must go through the handover procedures with the recipient.

Article 35 The assets management of the Group must implement China's financial management system and accept the supervision of the general meeting (or representative meeting) and the financial department. If the source of assets belongs to the state appropriation or social donation or subsidy, it must accept the supervision of audit institutions and publish relevant information to the society in an appropriate way.

Article 36 Expenditure shall be supervised by the board of directors, and the executing agency shall report to the board of directors every year.

Article 37 Before a group changes or changes its legal representative, it must accept the financial audit organized by the registration authority of the association and the competent business unit.

Article 38 No unit or individual may occupy, privately divide or misappropriate the assets of this group.

Chapter IX Procedures for Amending the Articles of Association

Thirty-ninth amendments to the articles of association of this group must be approved by the Council and reported to the general meeting (or representative meeting) for consideration.

Article 40 The revised Articles of Association of the Organization shall come into effect within 15 days after it is adopted by the general meeting of members (or congress), agreed by the competent business unit and approved by the organization registration authority.

Chapter X Termination Procedure and Liquidation of Assets

Article 41 The termination of this Association shall be approved by the general meeting of members and reported to the China Academy of Social Sciences and the Ministry of Civil Affairs for approval. Upon termination, an asset liquidation team shall be established by the general meeting of members. The cleared assets are used for the development and research of Yi-ology.

Article 42 The Articles of Association shall have the legal effect in Chinese, and shall come into force as of the date of approval by the association registration authority. The right to interpret the Articles of Association belongs to the Standing Council.
