Cancer Institute of Cancer Hospital of China Academy of Medical Sciences was established in 1958, formerly Ritan Hospital, and added in 1963. Since then, prevention and treatment points for high incidence of tumors have been established in Linzhou, Henan and Qidong, Jiangsu. 1983 moved to longtan lake, southeast of Beijing. It was officially renamed as Cancer Institute of Cancer Hospital of China Academy of Medical Sciences.
