First, select a column of cells for which you want to set a drop-down box.
Click Data Validation under the Data tab to open the Data Validation panel.
In the data validation panel, select "Sequence" and enter what you want to display in the drop-down menu of the source, separating the options with English commas.
In order to realize the statistical function, you can use the "counting if" function in Excel. For example, if your drop-down menu item is in the range of A 1 to A 10, you can enter =COUNTIF(A 1:A 10, drop-down option) in a cell, and then replace the "drop-down option" with the specific drop-down menu item you want to count. In this way, when the items in the drop-down menu change, the statistical results will be updated automatically.
Make sure that the drop-down menu only shows statistical quantities, not numerical values. If further customization is needed, you can return to the data validation panel to make relevant adjustments.
