What are the procedures and procedures for animals to enter China?

Ways for cats to go abroad, air and land 1

Quarantine is very important for pets leaving the country. For pets without health certificates, most countries and regions will generally refuse to enter the country, and they will also be banned from entering the country when they return home. The procedures for taking pets abroad are as follows-

1, you must go to the animal hospital designated by the entry-exit quarantine bureau for vaccination. Because it takes a while for the vaccine to take effect, if the cat has never been vaccinated, it should be injected one month before taking it out of the country and one week before boarding the plane.

There are only two hospitals in Beijing that can provide health certificates for going abroad, one is Agricultural University Animal Hospital and the other is Madian Ornamental Animal General Hospital.

2. Go through the entry-exit quarantine formalities at the entry-exit quarantine bureau with the health certificate of the pet and Agricultural University within/0/4 days before departure (one week before departure at the latest). After the quarantine is completed, the plant quarantine certificate and customs clearance form shall be issued. And then take these documents to get on the plane and go through customs.

3. Sign up for Xidan Civil Aviation.

Ways for cats to go abroad, air and land transportation II

Cat's air travel (from native cat)

-Qin Ling

My cat followed me by plane for the first time at the end of February this year. It is only three months old and followed me from Zhengzhou to Chengdu. The second time was in early June, and he followed me back to Beijing from Chengdu.

It's the first time to go through the formalities for a cat, because I have no experience at all, so the process is very difficult. After a day of tossing, I was busy until 3 am the next day, and then I rushed to get on the plane. The second time was much easier, but there were also twists and turns. Let me tell you briefly here, lest you take another detour &; ^

Precautions:

1, Quarantine Certificate for Exit Animals

You must apply for an "animal exit quarantine certificate" at the local animal quarantine station and handle it. Fee 10 yuan, valid within 0 days of departure/kloc-0.

That's easy to say, but I found the animal quarantine station in Zhengzhou, and it was almost 4 o'clock in the afternoon from morning to despair, because the plane arrived the next morning. Later, I found the phone number of the plant quarantine office in a yellow page. With a little luck, I called and asked, and the result told me that the phone number was correct. They told me the number of the animal quarantine station, and then I called the animal quarantine station and asked if I could get this certificate. They said come to work. I shouted "Thank God", put down the phone and ran to the animal quarantine station with the cat in my arms. If you apply for a certificate in Chengdu, you will be familiar with a lot. Just call the animal quarantine station directly to handle it.

I used to worry that I didn't need the proof that cats had been vaccinated before I could apply for the "Certificate of Quarantine of Animals Outside the County". Although I had vaccinated the cat, I didn't ask for a certificate, so I was ready to do both hard and soft. But in Zhengzhou and Chengdu quarantine stations, the staff didn't ask me for proof. They asked the name of the cat and my name, and then with a stroke of a pen, handed me the Animal Exit Quarantine Certificate. Zhengzhou Animal Quarantine Station even confiscated the fees of 10 yuan, which embarrassed me. I installed a "Zhongnanhai" for the invoicing staff.

I don't know whether the inspection in other cities is strict or not, but my feeling is that as long as your cat and dog are cute enough, it is easy to prove. My cat ran out of GGJJ in other offices of the quarantine station to tease him:)

2. birdcage

After finishing the quarantine certificate of animals leaving the county in Zhengzhou, I went to a pet stall market and bought a cage. Because I didn't have time, I bought an iron cage in that humble market, which is a small square cage made of wire. Because the flight regulations say that animal waste can't pollute the plane, I have no idea about using a special aviation cage. After returning home, I began to "decorate" the cage-that is, I sealed the cage with cardboard, leaving one side of the door open to let the cat breathe. In Chengdu, I didn't have time to buy it because time was tight. I just used an ordinary plastic cage. I screwed several joints with wire and put the cat in.

After taking the cat to the airport, the staff didn't want a cage, just concerned about ventilation. The cat will be kept in an aerobic cabin.

When I used the cage, the cat grabbed the wire with its claws and bit it with its teeth because of nervousness. As a result, one paw was scratched and bled. When I got off the plane, my distressed teeth didn't collapse, so I went directly to the pet hospital for disinfection and dressing.

If you take cats and dogs by plane, you'd better not use iron cages, which may be dangerous. Of course, if you bring a big dog on the plane, you probably still need an iron cage. Ordinary plastic cages are not strong, and cats and dogs may break free. Therefore, it is better to use an aviation cage, which is beautiful and strong. The key is to be practical:)

3. Airlines

The flights I took before and after were China Southern Airlines and Sichuan Airlines.

It's the first time to bring a cat on a plane, and I'm going to hand it over to the airline, because there is a regulation that "according to the regulations, the animal consignment fee can't be included in the free baggage allowance, and the fee should be charged at 65438+ 0.5% of the air ticket per kilogram". And my boss just brought his cat from Beijing to Shanghai a while ago and paid several hundred dollars. But when I was at Zhengzhou airport, the staff asked me to fill out a baggage consignment note after receiving the animal exit quarantine certificate, and then asked me to sign it. I put the cat on the conveyor belt and went in without charging me anything. At that time, the process was so simple that I was dumbfounded. I began to worry about the cage, how much it would cost, and what if I didn't do something. The result was a great flight at the airport. At Chengdu airport, too. Go in smoothly. At that time, the only worry was that SARS was not completely over, and I didn't know whether to take animals on the plane, which was a bit tortuous as I said before.

Later, I conducted an investigation, and I know that Air China's flight inspection is stricter than other airlines, and it charges consignment fees; China Eastern Airlines also charges freight, but not as much as Air China. For the flights of China Southern Airlines and Sichuan Airlines (in fact, Sichuan Airlines has merged with Air China, but it is estimated to be operated independently, hehe ~), the inspection is very loose, and no consignment fee is charged. I haven't been on another airline's flight, so I can't guarantee it.

My suggestion: take cats and dogs on the plane, and if possible, take the plane of China Southern Airlines (not advertising China Southern Airlines ~) to keep your teeth happy:)

Step 4 pick up the plane

The cat stays in the aerobic cabin of the plane all the time, and it must be picked up as soon as it reaches its destination.

At Chengdu airport, the cat came out with luggage through the conveyor belt. When I was still at the exit of the conveyor belt, I heard its cry, and then I was so happy when I saw it passing, except that I didn't call it:)

At Beijing airport, I thought that just like Chengdu airport, I would wait for it to come out by the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt of Beijing Airport is different from that of Chengdu Airport. The conveyor belt of Chengdu Airport is flat. The conveyor belt of Beijing Airport is above and there is a slope below. Something transported to the slope may crash and roll down, which makes me worry about whether the cat will crash and roll down. There happened to be something wrong with the conveyor belt that day, and no one cared. It took almost an hour for someone to fix it, and everyone began to scold. As a result, everyone took the luggage away, and I didn't see my cat come out. I was in a hurry, so I ran to the information desk to find out the situation and told me to get it at the big luggage office. Shit, after all this time, I started running. I didn't run far, but I heard the cat barking in my face. Take a closer look, it is an airport working MM pushing. I ran to her and said, "This is my cat, thank you." Grinning happily and looking up at the cat. Work MM didn't ask me anything, just smiled at me and left.

My experience: different airports may have different places to pick up cats and dogs. You must think it over. You can cry if you accidentally lose your baby ~ ~ ~

It may have something to do with the cat's personality. My cat is a Siamese cat, and its personality is as careless as mine, so it didn't respond at all when it flew to my new home with me. When he arrived at his new home, he sniffed around generously for a while and then had a good time.

Princess Sarah said that the cat was too small to check. This is the first time I have heard of it. I haven't heard of it before, and it's not in the aviation manual. This problem can be discussed again:)

Ok, that's all, a little experience, tell you, hehe &; ^

Finally, I hope that friends who have changed their work and living places can bring pets, because it is difficult for adult cats and dogs to leave their owners. Once separated, the psychological trauma is very serious, not to mention it is not a very difficult thing. Let's take them away as much as possible with an attitude towards our families and children and fulfill our promise to take care of them for life.
