Case analysis consultation: what do international students need to know?

Case analysis, different from the general assignment writing, needs to explain your conclusion at the beginning, and then give the detailed reasons and basis for the conclusion. In fact, the case study is mainly divided into three steps: finding and expounding the problem, analyzing the problem and proposing the final solution.

1. Read through the case.

To fully understand the case, we must read it carefully and thoroughly.

2. Define the central issue.

Many cases involve several problems or problems. Find out the most important problems and separate them from the more trivial ones.

3. Define the company's goals.

The inconsistency between the company's goals and performance may further highlight the problems found in the second step. At the very least, determining the company's goals will guide the rest of the analysis.

4. Find out the constraints of the problem.

Constraints may limit the solutions available to the company. Typical constraints include limited funds, lack of additional production capacity, personnel restrictions, strong competitors, relationships with suppliers and customers, and so on.

5. Find all relevant alternatives.

The list should show that all relevant alternatives can solve the problems identified in step 2.

6. Choose the best choice.
