Jiangsu Yuntaishan National Forest Park
Yuntaishan National Forest Park (scenic spot) is located at the northern foot of Houyuntai Mountain in Lianyun District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, with a total area of 2,000 hectares. * * * There are 58 peaks, among which Dajianshan, the highest peak, is 605.4m above sea level, making it the second highest peak in Jiangsu Province. Located in the south of warm temperate zone, the annual average temperature is 14℃, the annual average precipitation is over 920 mm, and the frost-free period is 220 days. The dominant wind direction is southeast wind. Controlled by the ocean, the climate type is humid monsoon climate, with a little maritime climate characteristics. Yuntaishan Park is a national scenic spot, a national AAAA tourist attraction, a national forest park and a provincial natural ecological protection zone.
Lianyungang liandao tourist resort
Liandao Tourist Resort is a national 4A-level tourist attraction, which is located in Liandao on the coast of Haizhou Bay in the Yellow Sea, facing Lianyungang across the sea. Liandao is the largest island in Jiangsu Province, which is connected with the land by the first long dike in China, 6.7 kilometers. lianyungang underwater world
Lianyungang Sea World is about 35 kilometers away from Lianyungang City. As one of the major tourism projects introduced by Liandao Tourism Resort in recent years, it is the first aquarium along the coast of Jiangsu Province, a popular science education base in Jiangsu Province, and also an aquarium displaying a large number of living coral species in China. The first phase of the exhibition area is more than 400 meters long and covers an area of about 3,000 square meters, displaying 1000 living marine animals. Here, you can explore the mysteries of the ocean and get to know all kinds of marine life, including colorful corals, small and exquisite "jellyfish", colorful shellfish and many beautiful coral fish, which attract the attention of many tourists.
Christina Temple and Ashoka Tower
Christina Temple Pagoda, also known as "Ashoka Pagoda", was built in the first year of Tiansheng in the Northern Song Dynasty (1023). Built to support the release of relics and the tooth of Ashoka, it is located in Huaguoshan Street, Yuntai District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. Christina Temple Tower was built in front of the mountain gate, on the central axis. There are three front gates behind the tower, which are called "Christina Temple". There are three main halls, three halls on the left and right wings, and a tower in front of the main hall. Christina Temple Tower is an imitation attic with nine floors and eight sides, with a relative height of 40.58 meters. The whole building structure is rigorous and reasonable, with bright and elegant lines and rich and simple style. 1978, the State Seismological Bureau and the Cultural Relics Bureau listed the Christina Temple Tower as an ancient building with earthquake resistance. On May 25th, 2006, Christina Temple Tower was announced by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Liandao seaside bath
Liandao Beach, located in Liandao, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, is the largest natural high-quality beach in Jiangsu Province, also known as Sumawan. It is mainly composed of Dashawan Bath and Sumawan Bath, and is a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot. Suma Bay, named after the beautiful legend of General Su Ziheng riding a horse and traveling with an eagle in the late Ming Dynasty, is the most famous tourist attraction in Liandao seaside resort. It integrates natural coastal landscapes such as Castle Peak, Blue Sea and Jin Tan with human landscapes such as seaports, huge dikes, fishing villages and ancient stone carvings. The annual "Lianyungang Summer" is held here, attracting tens of thousands of tourists from all over the country to spend the summer here. In the coastal beach environmental monitoring released by China National Environmental Monitoring Center, Sumawan Beach is listed as one of "15 beaches with excellent water quality and the most suitable for swimming".
In Haiyang Park, the overall design principle is "respect, transform and enjoy nature" and the design method is "large scale, large space and new feeling". According to the order of private space, semi-open space and vast sea area, the park is divided into five functional areas: leisure center, sparse grassland, landscape square, sunny beach and enjoying sea area, which integrates leisure, sightseeing and tourism.
