The purpose of independent enrollment in higher vocational colleges is to implement the spirit of the State Council's decision on vigorously developing vocational education, comprehensively promote quality vocational education, and establish and improve the modern vocational education system.
Adapt to the needs of China's economic and social development, highlight the characteristics of higher vocational education, actively promote the reform of college entrance examination enrollment system, and select outstanding high school graduates with high comprehensive quality, strong innovation ability, strong practical ability and expertise to enter higher vocational colleges.
After high school graduates are admitted to higher vocational colleges through the separate entrance examination for higher vocational colleges, they don't have to take the general college entrance examination.
Policy brief:
Single move and unified move have their own advantages and disadvantages. Single move can be described as a shortcut to unified move. After entering the school, there is no difference from the unified recruitment, but the time and method of enrollment are different, and the single recruitment examination is much easier than the unified examination.
Each candidate can only apply for 1 institution. The college entrance examination of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages and the cultural test are arranged in March 18 every year. Before April 10 every year, colleges and universities release cultural test scores.
Different provinces have different examination papers, so higher vocational students can only apply for higher vocational education in their own province, not those outside the province.
Before April 25th of each year, colleges and universities will determine the list of candidates to be admitted according to the results of cultural tests and skill assessments or interviews.
