Our bureau attached great importance to the organization and implementation of this work, set up a leading group, defined responsibilities, formulated plans, specially set up a legal publicity department and an environmental information center, and built a public environmental information website-XX Environment, which was linked with environmental protection websites such as the mission center of the State Environmental Protection Administration and became a window for citizens to understand and obtain environmental protection policies and information. Publications such as "Environmental Information Summary" and "Brief Report on Eco-county Construction" were established to inform the relevant situation in time, which was well received by relevant leaders and departments and became a good "helper" for popularizing environmental protection knowledge and information.
Second, mobilize widely and improve the breadth of popularization.
Public participation is a powerful social force to promote the development of environmental protection. With the rapid development of economy and society, people's requirements for environmental protection are getting higher and higher, and their awareness of environmental protection is increasing.
In the office, around the study of Scientific Outlook on Development, the theory of circular economy and the theory of sustainable development determined by the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, with lectures and expert reports as the main forms, we jointly organized classes with the organization department of the county party committee to publicize and popularize environmental protection knowledge; Taking the opportunity of establishing a national ecological demonstration zone, we will popularize the ecological concept, basic national policy and sustainable development theory among party and government leading cadres at all levels through meetings, documents and lectures.
In terms of enterprises, five training courses on ecological demonstration area construction, cleaner production, circular economy, ISO 14000 demonstration, environmental protection administrative punishment and other professional knowledge have been held successively, with more than 300 township leaders, environmentalists, factory directors and enterprise managers attending; And professional training for full-time environmental protection personnel of key enterprises in the county, and sending business backbones to provincial and municipal environmental protection departments to learn advanced concepts and experiences.
In schools, we will strengthen environmental education for primary and secondary school students in conjunction with the Education Bureau, and set up eco-environmental knowledge courses in primary and secondary schools with the focus on "three advances" (environmental knowledge enters textbooks, classrooms and brains) to improve the popularization rate of ecological knowledge. We have launched the "Green Education Action" with the main content of "building a green school, building a green base, writing a green composition and being a green teacher and student", and will guide teachers and students with the creation of a green school as the carrier and grasper.
