On the Philosophical Basis and Basic Laws of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Chinese medicine is a form of China culture. Because China's philosophy is the unity of ontology, epistemology and methodology, the form of TCM must show the basic principles of China's philosophy. The research on the relationship between the basic principles of China's philosophy and the self-created forms of TCM shows the cultural significance of the way of thinking of TCM in the unification with the basic laws of China's philosophy. Therefore, TCM represents the basic form of China's culture and philosophy in content. It should be said that those who want to explore the mystery of China's philosophy and think that China's philosophy is different from western philosophy, and therefore has an independent philosophical form, should work hard on the study of Zhouyi, Tao Te Ching and Neijing, and nothing else. The author generalizes China's philosophy with metaphysics theory, which is the result of the above research methods. Since the philosophical basis of traditional Chinese medicine is the unity of form and form, what specific basic laws exist between form and form of traditional Chinese medicine and their basic significance to the development of traditional Chinese medicine will be discussed in this paper.

First, the philosophical basis of traditional Chinese medicine

The mode of thinking of traditional Chinese medicine, that is, the philosophical basis, is one of the important contents of philosophical research since modern times. However, due to the rational approach of western learning spreading to the east in modern times, the study of Chinese medicine philosophy is to westernize the thinking mode of Chinese medicine with the thinking mode, concept and category of western philosophy. Therefore, as far as the research results are concerned, because it is divorced from the foundation of comfortable China culture, it is not the true face of China's philosophy or Chinese medicine philosophy at all. The research on the philosophical thinking of TCM and its basic laws can only be the result of free philosophical reflection in China's cultural research, because the historical and logical process of any cultural form can only be formed in the freedom of its cultural matrix and cannot be explained by any foreign culture. Contemporary western analytical philosophy and hermeneutics show that due to the inherent structure of western culture, it is difficult to interpret the text with its own language system and way of thinking, and it is impossible to realize its original meaning. Therefore, the interpretation of its own vocabulary and language in western culture does not have its textual significance. In this case, how to explain China's culture and philosophy with western philosophy and forms? I really don't understand why contemporary academic circles in China can study China culture with the methodology of learning from the West and think that they have discovered the "Basic Law" of China culture. When compared with these "basic laws" in the free form of China's philosophy, we will find that Chinese and western cultures are completely different forms. As far as the basic way of thinking is concerned, Chinese and western cultures cannot make a simple analogy in form and content and realize the unity of thinking mode. The unity of philosophical thinking and cultural form shows that any independent culture can only be the result of its free philosophical thinking. Therefore, the formation of China culture can only be the result of China's comfortable philosophical thinking. The philosophical basis and basic laws of TCM can only be found in its cultural matrix. So, Chinese medicine was tired of baking, so the scabbard cut onions, want it? What does it have to do with China's philosophy? The research on these problems shows that the most important thing is the formation of the philosophical basis of traditional Chinese medicine. Obviously, this research method will constitute a reflection on China's philosophy and culture.

In the study of China's philosophy, I used the theory of time-space epistemology to reflect on China's knowledge system, and found that in China's knowledge form, The Book of Changes is the foundation of China's philosophy, while Chinese medicine is the most mature knowledge form produced by China's philosophical thinking. It can also be considered that the essence of China's philosophy can be embodied in Chinese medicine, and so can the so-called easy communication between doctors. So, what is the principle of the essence of China's philosophy and the unity of TCM? This is the first problem to be solved in studying the philosophical laws of traditional Chinese medicine.

Therefore, to study the laws of Chinese medicine philosophy, we should first externalize the thinking mode of the Book of Changes into a philosophical form, which is also the primary work of studying China's philosophy. My work of externalizing the thinking mode of the Book of Changes into a philosophical form is based on the philosophical principle of "the unity of time and space" and generalizes China's philosophy with the philosophical principle of metaphysics. The philosophical thinking mode of metaphysical theory shows that the epistemological principle of correspondence between time and space and the methodological principle of correspondence and unification of ontology of time and space are the basic laws of China's philosophy. Therefore, whether Chinese medicine can embody these three basic laws is an important work of philosophical reflection.

Therefore, it is an integral part of this research work to abstract the general way of thinking from the basic principles of TCM and combine it with China's philosophical principles. Due to the unification of the thinking mode of TCM and Yijing, TCM scholars have a profound understanding of the philosophical problems of the communication between medicine and Yi. For example, Zhang Xugu, a famous doctor in Qing Dynasty, said: "Poetry, calligraphy, spring and autumn, on human deeds, praise gentlemen, belittle villains, and take Meiji Restoration as the reason, not Yin and Yang." "Yi" represents the principle of the rise and fall of Yin and Yang, and Confucianism uses metaphors to deal with chaos. ..... So Yi is the source of Tao, and both medicine and Confucianism are involved. Yi Ci is a Confucian word, which can rule the world, but not cure it. ..... Are medical books really better than easy books? The medical classics and the Yijing style are the same but different, and the clumsy collection repeatedly announces its meaning. That is, nature and nurture will be divided into two branches, so there is a branch of all opinions, but I don't know where to use it. The sage Wei is easy to read, but he doesn't know how to study medicine. He doesn't know how to learn easy and how to study medicine after a year off. Sages are the way to rule the world, not the way to cure diseases, so it is not worthy to say that some people have not achieved it. However, the use of Tao has its size, and its body is also an organic whole. It's more important than the avenue. Why? Build a life and then have moral achievements. It is also a doctor who saves a life. Its principle is the same as Yijing, which is the source of Yin and Yang Tai Chi, so the same body is used differently. Obviously, Zhang Xugu has a profound understanding of the philosophical relationship between the Book of Changes and the Book of Changes. Because the externalization of philosophical forms is the research task of contemporary philosophy, this study, like all ancient scholars who have a deep understanding of the communication between medicine and Yi, interprets the philosophical thinking of traditional Chinese medicine with the externalization of philosophical thinking in Yijing.

We summarize and reflect on China's philosophy and the philosophical model of the Book of Changes with metaphysical principles. Because the unity of medical purpose and methodology is mainly embodied in traditional Chinese medicine-"saving the wounded and saving the dying, medical ethics is also important", so correspondence and neutralization are the main ways of thinking and philosophical methodology in traditional Chinese medicine. Reflecting on Chinese medicine with the law of corresponding harmony shows that the main laws of Chinese medicine philosophy under the influence of this methodology are: yin and yang and Sino-French, five elements and Sino-French, triple energizer and Sino-French. Three laws are discussed in detail below.

Second, the basic laws of Chinese medicine philosophy

As far as the subjectivity of China's philosophy is concerned, those who correspond to harmony and those who correspond to heaven and earth are also harmonious. Therefore, as far as Tao and Tao are concerned, man is a material existence. And people are to the human body, with the theory of hiding images, spleen and stomach, and the theory of five elements, and China is also. In terms of triple focusing, so is the medium focus. People who are in harmony with the middle are also like people's health, while those who deviate from the middle are sick! Why do dialectical doctors call it? Syndrome differentiation, corresponding to yin and yang, five elements and triple energizer from symptoms; Guests, and in the middle; Whoever is harmonious will achieve governance; The middle, yin and yang, five elements, triple energizer; Harmony, Yin and Yang and Sino-French, Five Elements and Sino-French, Sanjiao and Sino-French.

"The husband born since ancient times is the foundation of life, between Yin and Yang, within Liuhe. The Qi of Kyushu is nine, five and twelve years old, all of them have five, and their Qi is three. It is the foundation of this life to commit this crime many times, and the evil spirits hurt people (chapter 3 of Huangdi Neijing, anger reaches justice), "Yin and Yang, the way of heaven and earth, the discipline of all things, the changing parents, the beginning of life and death, the home of the gods. "(The Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine, Su Wen, The Great Theory of Yin and Yang, Chapter 5), Yin and Yang, The Way of Heaven and Earth, subjectively speaking, Yin and Yang correspond to the middle, Yin and Yang correspond to the middle, and time and space opportunities correspond to the middle. Therefore, for people, "Yin Pingyang is the secret and Qi is the rule; Yin and Yang are separated and refined "(The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic, Su Wen, Angry Days Chapter III). "One yin and one yang, the way of heaven and earth; When you open a peace, you will have the opportunity to move. (Janice: Notes on Liuwei Dihuang Pills, Jin Jian Yi Zong, Volume II) "Yin wins Yang disease, and Yang wins Yin disease" (the fifth theory of Yin and Yang should be like in Huangdi Neijing). The above discussion clarifies the philosophical basis of traditional Chinese medicine in a basic sense.

Therefore, if we think that "one yin and one yang is the Tao, one yin and one yang is the disease." (Zhang's Origin of Medicine Volume X Indications of Neijing) So that the correspondence between Yin and Yang becomes the basis of philosophical ontology, then I think that "harmony between Yin and Yang means medicine". Harmony of yin and yang, medicine is of great use. "The roots of qi and blood are all in the bottom, cultivated and used." (Zheng Shouquan: The True Story of Medicine, Volume III. Ask the patient why he has a dry cough and itches all over. Those who are "cultivated" and "mean" are also. "People's vitality is rooted in the kidney, sprouting teeth in the liver, cultivating in the spleen, and accumulating in the chest to mediate the whole body for the atmosphere." (Zhang Xichun: Prescription for Treating Qi Stagnation and Limb Pain, Volume IV, Peipi Shugan Decoction) "Zhongying" and "Zhongying" are also useful in China. Therefore, "if a mortal is full of gas, evil cannot be committed; The invasion of Si Qi is also due to qi deficiency. " (Chen Shiduo's Dialectical Records, Volume 8, Internal Injury Door). Therefore, harmony between Yin and Yang, five elements, triple energizer, Yin and Yang, five elements and triple energizer are also dialectical. Neutralization, acquired harmony, spleen and stomach harmony, congenital kidney harmony, spleen and stomach harmony, blood, kidney harmony, and qi. Therefore, the day after tomorrow, "people are based on stomach qi." (Gao Li's Spleen and Stomach Theory, Volume 1, Diet Strain is Enthusiasm Theory). Physicians of all ages have a profound understanding of Middle Earth: "Spleen is dirty soil, transporting water depends on it, and the whole body waterway depends on spleen to adjust." (Wu Keqian: Popular Medicine, Chapter 24, Introduction to Health Care), Stomach is the Sea of Qi and Blood (Lingshu Edition No.60), Spleen and Stomach are the Roots of Qi, Blood, Yin and Yang (Aoshi Gynecology Jade Ruler Volume 5, Burst and Leak), Stomach is the Source of the twelve meridians, and Shui Gu. (The theory that the spleen and stomach roll down is that the deficiency and cold of the spleen and stomach lead to nine obstacles), "The stomach is harvested by the department, and the spleen is transported. Once absorbed, it produces essence, body fluid rises, and dregs fall, so there will be no disease." (Wang Lun: Miscellaneous Books of Ming Medicine Volume I On Zhi Zhu Pills). Zhang Xugu is the main point of view about the philosophical thinking of the Chinese people. He said: "Tai Chi is born on the earth, and Tai Chi is the mother of everything after tomorrow, so it runs through the four qi, and the Lord is in the middle ... the five elements, the way of biology; Soil is the key to Tai Chi, and the way to accomplish things is also. If the five elements are tangible, Tai Chi is the outline of the five elements. If the tangible is intangible, then the soil is the outline of Tai Chi. There is a cycle of regulating qi, so it is smooth and inverse. ..... Good at judging Yin and Yang, but the body of Taiji has Yin and Yang, and the four images are divided, but the body of Taiji has four images. Therefore, those who add soil to call the five elements are also in the topsoil, that is, the body of Tai Chi. Therefore, the five elements are constantly circulating and are welcomed by Tai Chi. This gas is invisible and inhabits four elephants. Nb sp expresses the use of Tai Chi through four qi, so its finished product is the outline of Tai Chi, with innocent qi in the middle. " (Zhang Xugu: "Doctors drink big, Tai Chi five elements play").

The basic philosophical laws of traditional Chinese medicine are summarized from yin and yang, the middle way, the five elements, the middle way and the triple energizer, which are the laws of TCM epistemology and methodology. The philosophical ontology of TCM is based on the way of thinking in Zhouyi. So people who are easy to communicate with doctors have the unity of philosophical thinking.

Third, the development direction of traditional Chinese medicine

Therefore, as a cultural form, the essence of TCM is unified with the form and essence of China culture. Therefore, the development direction of TCM in the contemporary era is unified with the development of China culture in the contemporary era, which is determined by the comfort law of TCM in the microscopic aspect and is closely related to contemporary philosophical thinking.

While western medicine is showing more and more congenital deficiency in contemporary times, with the emergence of cultural fever in China, the excellence of traditional Chinese medicine has also attracted the attention of the world medical community. Philosophical reflection on it shows that from the root of the problem, the problem it wants to solve is not just a simple medical problem. Because the problems exposed by the current model of western culture are not only manifested in medicine, but also in the philosophy of western culture. It should be considered that the advantages and disadvantages of the two medical models are formed in their different ways of thinking, and these advantages and disadvantages will be more obvious in the future medical and cultural progress. Scholars who care about the development of traditional Chinese medicine have obviously noticed the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine. But in addition to the advantages of TCM in medical practice, the author thinks that the advantages of TCM are manifested in philosophical thinking, and the achievements of TCM are caused by China's philosophical thinking. Therefore, it is the ontology of traditional Chinese medicine that came into being under the unification of China's culture and philosophy, which has made brilliant achievements in the medical theory and practice of traditional Chinese medicine, played an important role in contemporary society, and will become a very important reference system for the continued development of human medicine. However, since the introduction of western culture and philosophy into China in modern times, it has resulted in a fixed mindset and a misjudgment of China's philosophy, which has led to a misleading way of thinking in the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine and affected the correct development of traditional Chinese medicine. Therefore, studying the ontology of TCM philosophy and its role in practice from a philosophical point of view is an important work in the research of basic theories of TCM and an important part of China's philosophical research.

However, due to the difference between China's philosophical thinking and western philosophical thinking, so far, the academic circles have not paid attention to the essence of China's philosophy from China's inherent cultural form, that is, how China's philosophy thinks about ontology and ontology. Although western formalized philosophical thinking has created western culture, because China's traditional philosophy is not formalized, it is bound to distort the essence of China's philosophy to interpret China's philosophy with the formalized concepts and categories of western philosophy. For example, the study of the category of "Tao" and the formal harmony of western philosophy show us that law is contradictory. Therefore, studying the ontology of China's philosophy is an important theoretical issue in the development of philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine. For example, we often see that China's philosophy is "the unity of man and nature", which is not the ultimate conclusion in philosophy. We should reflect on and ask questions about the ontology that produced the so-called concept of "harmony between man and nature" and its speculative ontological philosophy, so as to finally discover the ontology and ontological form of China's philosophy.

From Sun Simiao's viewpoint on the academic nature of TCM, we can get some enlightenment on the ontology of TCM. He thinks: "Anyone who wants to be a great doctor must be familiar with, A, B, C, D, Huangdi Neijing, the twelve meridians, Sanbu Jiuhou, Internal and External Viscera, Herbal Medicine, Medicine Pair, Zhang Zhongjing, Ruan Henan, Fan Dongyang, Zhang Miao and Jin. This is a great doctor. If not, swimming at night without eyes will be damaged; The second time, you must be familiar with this recipe, think about the wonderful truth, and pay attention to research before you can speak. I'm going to dabble in books again. Which one? If you don't read the five classics, you don't know the way of righteousness; If you don't read three histories, you don't know what happened in ancient and modern times; If you don't read a hundred schools of thought contend, you can't know it silently; If you don't read Neijing, you don't know the virtue of sadness and joy; If you don't learn from Zhuang Lao, you can't play sports in Ren Zhen, and then you will be arrested for good luck or bad luck. As for the five elements of Hugh Wang and the seven wonders of astronomy, we are going to explore them. If we can learn from them, the road to medicine will not be blocked, but perfection will be perfect. " (Sun Simiao: Prepare for Emergency). From the ontology of space-time correspondence in Yin-Yang correspondence and China's philosophy, "Yin-Yang is the way of heaven and earth, the discipline of all things, the parents of change, the foundation of life and death, and the home of all gods" (the fifth chapter of Yin-Yang Theory should be like Huangdi Neijing)&; Nb sp holds that "Yin and Yang are the basis of dharma, and magic numbers are the basis of harmony" (The First Book of Huangdi Neijing Ancient Naivety) and "Yijing" hold that "Yin and Yang are the way". The above discussion shows that Chinese medicine itself is a knowledge about Tao, and only by grasping the philosophical thought of Tao can we grasp Chinese medicine concretely. However, due to the comfortable way of thinking, China's philosophy did not form a formal philosophy from western culture like western philosophy in history. Therefore, Tao can not be grasped in formal thinking, but only in the integrity of existence. Therefore, a contributing scholar of traditional Chinese medicine, so all famous doctors in history, are people who have a deep understanding of Tao, in order to achieve "perfection." After China's culture is externalized into philosophy, the philosophical basis and basic laws of TCM will also guide the research of TCM in the form of self-thinking, and the self-thinking form of China's philosophy will bring fundamental changes and essential progress to the development of TCM. ⑶

Since western culture originated from modern China culture and philosophy, it is very important for the development of Chinese medicine or China culture to explore the Tao ontology in China's philosophy and construct an independent form of China's philosophy. However, as far as the current research status of China's philosophy is concerned, there is still a long way to go. Therefore, as far as the field of traditional Chinese medicine is concerned, we should focus on the philosophical ontology of traditional Chinese medicine to unify the essence of human existence and ontology, which will be the future development direction of traditional Chinese medicine. Specifically, Chinese medicine should understand the essence of human life in the speculative form of "Tao" ontology, and make human survival reach its due position in the establishment of operational form.

The basic laws of TCM philosophy demonstrated in this paper show that TCM philosophy is unified with China's culture and philosophy, while China's culture and philosophy are free and independent systems, which are formally summarized under the ontology of human existence. Therefore, the way of human existence should be unified with its essence in form. Therefore, China's culture and philosophy are different from those of the West. Both history and logic show that the development of TCM, like China's culture and philosophy, has its own logical path and laws. Therefore, the contemporary development of TCM depends on the contemporary development of China culture, and the development of TCM and China culture should be in the same strain. Discovering and conforming to the laws of China's philosophy, and unifying the form of traditional Chinese medicine with the inevitability of human existence through the corresponding unification of the essence of human existence and the level of time and space will be the development path of China's culture, philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine in the future, and will realize the comfortable existence form in the sense of society and human ontology.

(1) The unification of Chinese and western philosophy is an inevitable work for the establishment of human philosophy, but it can only be completed after the philosophical foundation of human beings is discovered. Any external efforts to formalize and classify in this form not only violate formal logic. What? ∑ [14] The source relayed the problem of paying the tomb expenses. Not only violates formal logic. Any external efforts to formalize and classify in this form are not just a question of reciting. Sang Yuan asked about Jiaoan's tomb? Ask Mu Mu? Hydrazine? Ann? Huh? The man asked if it was a bad model. Moreover, it is impossible to integrate different cultural forms from form to logic, just as it is impossible for English and Chinese to achieve unity from form to logic. The unity of human culture first requires the unity of philosophy. The author's research shows that human cultural form and philosophical thinking can only be completed after the form and mode of time and space are restored, which is exactly what the author's philosophical system of "integration of time and space" tries to accomplish.

⑵ The theory of "Chinese style" is a philosophical generalization of human philosophy based on the comparative study of Chinese and Western philosophy. It neutralizes the essence of China's cultural thinking mode in the form of subject, that is, the subject of "Chinese style" is called "human", which proves the existence of subject in the unity of epistemology, methodology and ontology. This also found a basis for the philosophical thinking of traditional Chinese medicine. ⑶ The development and progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the contemporary era is determined by the free nature of traditional Chinese medicine, which has the law of unification with China culture. Regarding the development of TCM itself, I put forward a basic exposition in the article "Taoist Philosophy and the Development of TCM" (edited by Chen Youbang: Research on Taoist Medical Culture in China, published by Huangshan Bookstore, 1997, 10 edition, 1 page).
