Zhong Pengrong is a famous economist and economic consulting expert in China, and is called one of the "Four Little Dragons of China Economics" by academic circles and press at home and abroad. Beijingers nicknamed him "Jing Shao" and called him "Zhong Investment".
Zhong Pengrong, 1954 Xishui, Hubei, is currently the director and researcher of a consulting center in Beijing. He is also a professor at many universities such as Northwest University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics, an independent director of listed companies such as Yuxing Electronics and Chengcheng Cultural Investment Group, and an economic consultant to more than 20 large domestic enterprises and local governments.
Zhong Pengrong worked in the Party and government organs at the township, district, county and central levels in China, and worked in the research office of the General Office of the Central Committee for 6 years. He participated in the formulation of a series of important policies and the drafting of manuscripts, and had a deep understanding of the macroeconomic situation and the government operation mechanism in China.
At the beginning of 1988, Zhong Pengrong was transferred to Beijing by the central leadership for publishing many weighty articles in Economic Daily to participate in the research work of the Central Secretariat on the wage and price reform plan, and then stayed in the Central Office. Zhong Pengrong was named by the central leadership and transferred to Zhongnanhai, which became the headline news of many newspapers at that time. Zhong Pengrong has been engaged in economic theory research for nearly 20 years, and he has a solid foundation in economic theory. Zhong Pengrong has published more than 200 economic papers in People's Daily, Economic Daily, Guangming Daily, China Business Times, Economic Research and Financial Research. Many articles are published in half or full pages and reprinted repeatedly. 1992, Zhong Pengrong co-authored a long article entitled "Socialism Should Develop Market Economy" and published it in the banner title on the front page of Economic Daily. The next day, nearly 40 party newspapers, including People's Daily, were reprinted in full, and many provincial headlines were reprinted. The publication of this article set off an upsurge of discussing market economy in the whole country. 1998, Zhong Pengrong published an article "Eight Topics about China Owners" in China Entrepreneur magazine, with a full text of 20,000 words, which was reprinted by more than 0/00 newspapers in China, including China Business Times, China Enterprise News, China Asset News, Information Times and China Civil Aviation News.
From 65438 to 0999, Zhong Pengrong published the article "Eight Traps Faced by China Enterprises" in China Entrepreneur magazine, with a full text of more than 20,000 words. This paper systematically discusses the enterprise strategy. After the article was published, it was reprinted by more than 0/00 newspapers nationwide, including Economic Daily, China Business Times and China Finance News. Many large domestic enterprises specially organize management to study and discuss this article. In 2000, Zhong Pengrong published "Eight Issues of Enterprise System in China" in China Entrepreneur, with nearly 40,000 words, and made a systematic study on a series of institutional problems of enterprises in China. After the publication of this article, it was reprinted by many major newspapers, which caused great repercussions in the business community.
Since Zhong Pengrong founded the consulting center in Beijing, he has presided over the development strategies of nearly 30 large enterprise groups in China, including Daqing, Sanjiu Group, Hainan Airport Co., Ltd., Beijing Dongan Group, Henan Huaxin Capital Market, Henan Song Yue Textile Group, Henan Anyang Machine Booking Factory, Henan Yongmei Group, Lu Shanxi An Mining Bureau, Zhejiang Yiwu Commodity City Group, Shaanxi Construction Machinery Factory, Harbin Hi-Tech, Zhejiang Du Nan Electric Power Group, Ningxia Qinglong Company and Heilongjiang Dazheng Group. It involves state-owned enterprises, military enterprises, Hong Kong-funded enterprises, private enterprises and other forms of ownership, involving nearly 20 industries such as petroleum, coal, textiles, commerce, finance, aviation, medicine, chemicals, tourism, cosmetics, machinery, food and clothing.
Zhong Pengrong presided over the development planning of nearly ten prefecture-level cities, including Zhengzhou Business Center, Hubei Xiangfan Auto Parts Base, Henan Luohe State-owned Enterprise Property Right Reform, Shaanxi Yulin Energy Base, Jilin Yanji Tumen River Opening, Ningxia Shizuishan Industrial Adjustment, Zhejiang Taizhou Enhancing Competitiveness, etc. He presided over the development strategies of nearly 20 county-level cities such as Jiyuan, Xinzheng, Laohekou, Pingyang, Cangnan, Ouhai, Zunhua, Fuan, Yunnan Luoping, Shouguang, Shandong and Lucheng, Shanxi. Among them, the planning of Jiyuan has had a great influence in the whole country, which has promoted Jiyuan from a county-level city to a sub-prefecture-level city directly under the provincial government.
