From 20 10 to 20 10, this year's art festival has 22 sets of rich and diverse programs, which are divided into six focuses: international focus, local elite, traditional essence, inviting omnipotence, music rhythm and visual art. There are nearly 100 events, including various community promotion activities.
The dance "Hanging on the Top of the Dance" is closed, and the exhibition "Soul of the Mirror Sea" has deep cooperation with Greater Bay Area culture.
The Top of the Hanging Dance was created by Gefei Dance Company, a famous French choreographer and one of the best street dance companies in the world, which opened the curtain of this art festival. Vertical dance subverts the inherent dimension of hip hop. A large-scale Cantonese opera Soul in the Mirror was presented at the closing ceremony. Li Xinhua, a national first-class screenwriter, adapted the original script of Macao writers, and Macao and Foshan Cantonese Opera Theatre jointly recreated an earth-shattering historical story, which fully reflected the profound cultural cooperation of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Salute to the classics
The 30th Macao Arts Festival, sponsored by the Cultural Bureau, will be held in May, with the theme of "Tribute to Classics", presenting various programs and different styles of promotional activities to share classic works with the public.
The art festival kicked off with the stunning "Top of the Hanging Dance", which was jointly created by the popular French choreographer and one of the best street dance companies in the world. 10 dancers will fly in the air with the help of suspended steel cables, turning the restriction of gravity into a vertical dance, showing an extraordinary contemporary street dance.

The dance work Rain, jointly performed by the Belgian choreographer AnneTeresaDeKeersmaeker, RosaDanceCompany and contemporary musician SteveReich, reappeared on the Macau stage after its premiere on 18. With the cooperation of simple choreography and minimalist music, the dancers shuttled through the "rain curtain" to show their ecstasy.

To commemorate the birthday of Lao She120th, the novel Ermayina was adapted from Lao She's novel, which reflects the exchange and collision between Chinese and western cultures with Beijing humor and British humor, which happens to be the sound point of Macau, an international city where Chinese and foreign cultures coexist.

Ermayina, a Portuguese electric shock troupe, created an entertainment feast of live performances of music, dance and drama with the classic short plays of Karl Valentin, a famous comedian known as "German Zombie".
Carl's Absurd Tavern marks the 10th anniversary of the successful selection of Cantonese opera Carl's Absurd Tavern. The festival specially presents the closing masterpiece "Cantonese Opera", which is adapted from the original repertoire of Macao writers.
