How to find foreign trade orders

1. Use the Internet to obtain export orders online.

1) Establish a high-quality website that can display the company and products. Through the new website, you will gain the initial reputation and attention of products and companies. In order to improve your reputation, you can upload pictures of companies, factories, production processes and other products.

2) Cross-border e-commerce platform opens stores for operation.

Such as Amazon, eBay, AliExpress and so on.

3) Search engine optimization: Google, Yahoo and other search engines are widely used abroad. This is important because foreigners are looking for similar products and suppliers every day, just like us. If there are more opportunities to display in search results, there will definitely be more attention.

2. Send product samples (use a salesman with strong communication skills).

Effective communication plays an important role in every business. If you can effectively communicate with the buyer, express the quality of the product and prove that the price of the product is reasonable, then the buyer will definitely let you send samples of the product. If the sample is ok, then you may get an export order.

If the buyer has requirements, I suggest not to refuse to send samples. At least two sets of samples are completely acceptable when transporting samples. Many exporters gave up their export orders because they refused to send samples.

3. Participate in trade fairs and exchange meetings, such as the Canton Fair.

There are many exhibitions at home and abroad. At the exhibition, you can show your products to attract foreign buyers.

There are two main ways to get new contacts and potential customers.

1) Participate in exhibitions in your own industry. You can introduce your products, solutions and your company. In this way, you can establish contact with the most targeted potential customers. But this cost is very expensive, and it needs to build and prepare marketing materials, transportation expenses and on-site personnel.

2) Visit the Expo. You can buy tickets to visit the World Expo. You will have a lot of business cards and information lists. In this way, you can also collect contact information of potential customers. This is not as effective as going to the booth by yourself, but it basically costs nothing.

4. Use international trade promotion committees (such as China Council for the Promotion of International Trade-CCPIT (full name of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, established in 1952).

This kind of organization has many contact channels in the world, and they can guide or help you to find buyers of products and get export orders. Usually, the work of export promotion agencies or export agents is based on the fixed cost of the export orders they sign.

Step 5 use consulting

This also plays an important role in opening up foreign markets and obtaining export orders in international trade. You can contact sales regularly. But you need to explain your product and customer information in detail, so that the other party can understand what you really need.
