Driven by the development of the airport and its surrounding areas, we will gradually cultivate advanced manufacturing industries represented by automobiles and spare parts, gradually introduce high-tech industries, upgrade the industrial level of economic development along the Yangtze River, gradually improve supporting functions, promote the gradual development of urban functions in this area, and promote the formation of Jiangdu Riverside New City.
Central Comprehensive Service Belt: As the axis to build the potential energy in the central region, the comprehensive service belt is an important backbone axis in the spatial framework of "One Belt, One Plastic Point", and it is also the potential energy development axis of the core cities on which Yang Tai's future integrated development depends. It will become an important growth potential area to promote the development of the surrounding areas of the airport and shape a new airport city.
Airport Core Development Zone: It will be an important node of airport economic development and an important strategic node of Yang Tai's integrated development. It includes industrial function, tourism distribution function, leisure tourism function and related derivative functions.

From the perspective of building regional corridors and promoting the development of airport core area, the development of airport core area will be supported by two systems: road system and public transportation system.

Supporting public transportation system: directly introduce rail transit into the airport terminal, establish a convenient connection system between the airport and the airport new town, form a passenger transportation hub in the airport new town, and connect with the city BRT system in a short time. In the medium and long term, it is suggested to introduce intercity rail into Airport New Town and set up a station in Airport New Town. Through intercity rail transit and airport connection system, the accessibility of Jiangsu Jiangdu Airport to the city will be improved. Airport New Town: Relying on Yiling Town, the airport new town will be built by using the original comprehensive service development axis of National Highway 328.
The spatial pattern of Airport New Town will present "one point, two axes and five districts". The "two axes" are the airport economic development axis and the urban comprehensive service development axis. The axis of airport economic development starts from Jiangdu Airport in northern Jiangsu and extends southward, which drives the layout of airport industry along Anda Highway and forms a functional development corridor. The axis of urban comprehensive service development takes commerce and entertainment as the main life service functions, and forms the TOD mode leading development around the intercity H2 line rail station, with the former Yiling Town in the north and the new town in the south to develop modern life service and business service facilities; "One point" refers to the intersection of two main functional axes to form the core node of new city service, including regional business logistics function and urban public service function. More importantly, through the shaping of nodes, it plays the role of connecting the east with the west, shortens the spatial distance between Yang Tai metropolitan area and airport radiation area, and promotes the integration and development of metropolitan area; Divided by two axes, it is mainly divided into five functional areas: Yiling Old Town Group, Airport New Town Comprehensive Group, Commercial Trade, Commercial Logistics Plate and High-tech Industry Plate Group.
Dinggou Town: Quality and leisure are the main features. Relying on good ecological support, the area north of Ye Ning Railway will become an important level of regional leisure consumption economy development in the future. Therefore, in this context, it is suggested that the construction of Dinggou Town should echo the regional development trend, develop leisure economy and highlight quality. It is suggested to develop and design high-quality hot spring resorts as a whole through large-scale comprehensive tourism projects. We use the landscape resources of Sanyang River and other water systems to form a lake surrounded by water and create a leisure "garden island" with different designs, which is smooth in appearance, closely integrated with the environment and highlights leisure and ecology.
Airport gateway: flexible development. Adjacent to the core area of Jiangdu Airport in Jiangsu Province, planning has become the core of efficient service layout in this area, an important node to promote the integration of Yang Tai, and the service industry cluster dominates the core area of the airport. With the function of tourism distribution and aviation service as the core, it provides a comprehensive tourism service platform integrating transportation distribution, tourism information consultation and tourism service for Yang Tai's historical and cultural tourist attractions, surrounding newly developed leisure resorts and hot spring resorts.
In terms of aviation services, it mainly forms a supporting industrial chain for the airlines and airport bases where Jiangdu Airport is located, including aviation logistics, aviation food, aircraft maintenance, aviation fuel and materials, aviation training, hotel catering and other related industries. In the long run, we will reserve space for the development of airport economy and make basic preparations for the airport business headquarters economy and high-tech industries. Considering the landscape effect of the airport gateway area and the huge support of the airport for tourists in the future, it is suggested that the leading industries in the airport gateway area should be airport service and R&D industry, which will lay the foundation for the construction of high-end brand of the airport.

The construction of Airport New Town will rely on the original greening water system and township characteristics to form a "three cores, three axes and seven pieces" landscape system. The tourist distribution center is arranged near the gate of the terminal building, and undertakes the functions of passenger evacuation, transportation transfer and tourist bus service. It is suggested that hotels, leisure dining facilities should be set up in combination with the tourist distribution center, and even large-scale themed shopping and entertainment facilities including outlets should be introduced to form regional characteristics.
It is planned that the future airport business park will be located to the east of Anda Highway and to the south of Airport Road, and the flexible growth mode will be adopted to plan and design around the water system. By arranging the water network, a large landscape lake is formed, so that when the flight takes off and lands at Suzhong Airport, you can enjoy the beautiful environment of the park in the air and leave a vivid first impression on Yang Tai. Different eco-business parks around the large-scale landscape lake are mainly low-density office buildings with middle and low floors, which undertake the functions of airport office parks such as headquarters office, business finance, conference, scientific research and development.
On the west side of the lake are public venues and cultural exhibition buildings in the park, which constitute the visual focus of the lake and will also become the gateway landmark echoing the magnificent building of Suzhong Airport.
