Requirements for applying for a psychological counselor
Psychological counselor level 3 (national vocational qualification level 3) (with one of the following conditions)
(1) Bachelor degree or above in psychology, education and medicine.
(two) with a college degree in psychology, education, medicine, and after the three-level formal training of psychological counselors, they have reached the required standard hours and obtained a certificate of completion.
(3) Having a bachelor's degree or above in other majors, having received three-level formal training from psychological counselors, and having obtained a certificate of completion.
Psychological counselor level 2 (national vocational qualification level 2) (meeting one of the following conditions)
(1) holds a doctorate in psychology, education and medicine.
(2) Having a master's degree in psychology, pedagogy and medicine, having passed the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, reaching the required standard hours, and obtaining a certificate of completion.
(3) Persons who have obtained the third-level professional qualification certificate of psychological counselors, have been engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years, have reached the required standard hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and have obtained the certificate of completion.
(4) Having the qualifications for technical positions in psychology, education and medicine at or above the intermediate level, having reached the required standard class hours after the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, and having obtained a certificate of completion, and having been engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years.

(1) Personality: The personality condition of a psychological counselor is the most important factor to do a good job in psychological counseling, and it is also the first condition that a psychological counselor should have. The so-called personality refers to a person's whole mental outlook, which is the sum total of stable psychological characteristics with a certain tendency, including temperament, personality, interests, beliefs, abilities and so on.
First, he should be a person with relatively healthy psychology, and his health level is at least higher than that of his clients. A qualified psychological counselor should be a happy person who loves life and has good adaptability. He can properly handle his own psychological conflicts and eliminate daily interference, thus ensuring the smooth progress of helping others.
Secondly, he should be a helpful person. Only a helpful person can give warmth to the client in the consultation relationship, create a safe and free atmosphere, accept all kinds of positive and negative emotions of the client and enter the inner world of the client;
Third, he should be a serious and responsible person. Patiently listen to the client's narrative, concentrate on it, make the client feel concerned about their difficulties, be able to talk to the client sincerely and frankly, and make them willing to expose their inner privacy and secrets, which is worthy of their trust.
(2) Knowledge: It is necessary to have the necessary theoretical knowledge to do a good job in psychological counseling.
Psychological counseling does not rely on good wishes, enthusiasm and common sense to comfort, persuade troubled parties or encourage psychological patients to fight diseases.
Psychological counseling and psychotherapy are scientific work. We should use the scientific knowledge of helping others to help the parties, let them understand the real reason that bothers them, correct or give up their maladjustment, and make them psychologically mature.
