About going to Hong Kong for eye examination.

If you want to go to a government hospital (such as Hong Kong Eye Hospital, address: Argyle Street, Kowloon 147K, telephone: 2762 3007), you must have a doctor's referral letter (a family doctor's referral letter is enough) to see a doctor.

There is a long queue at the government hospital. If there is nothing wrong with your eyes, you can go to an ophthalmologist's rash or a professional optometry center for examination.

See a doctor process: make a typesetting appointment for the examination time first (it is arranged by the hospital, and you have no right to choose). The hospital will give you an appointment paper, and you will go back to the hospital according to the date on the paper. After paying the money, you wait for the doctor to see the doctor, and then the doctor will see the results of the examination before doing the eye examination.

Examination: visual inspection, intraocular pressure measurement, tear test, pupil diameter measurement, corneal thickness measurement, fundus and retina examination, wavefront scanning examination, eye sensitivity, etc.

* During the examination, the nurse will dilate your pupils. In the next 4 to 6 hours, your vision will become blurred and you will be slightly afraid of light.

It will be faster to see a private hospital, but it will definitely be much more expensive, such as Baptist Hospital.
