Recently, many friends are asking what Malaysia needs to bring, so write a post.
Although I haven't been in Malaysia for a long time, I've only been here for half a year.
Life has also felt a lot in the past six months.
It's not that Malaysian things are not good, but that we have been used to China things since childhood.
So what do you need to bring to study in China and what don't you need to bring?
Probably have some understanding.
This post is for friends who are coming but have not come yet.
It should still be very helpful. I hope so
If you come here for the first time, you will want to bring a lot of things.
Being overweight is easy.
So you must first know the weight of the airline you bought the ticket for free and the weight of your belongings.
As far as I know, China Southern checked 30KG carry-on baggage 15KG for free.
We are very lucky. I was overweight with me when I first came here, but I didn't say I wouldn't be fined. Our former classmates were severely punished.
AirAsia free consignment 15KG carry-on baggage 45KG.
We usually fly from these two airlines. If your ticket belongs to other airlines, be sure to ask about the weight limit of these two airlines to avoid being fined for being overweight.
After knowing the weight, it is a question of how to pack it. I don't recommend a big suitcase. It is too heavy to hold many things, so it is overweight. There is a kind of luggage that is big enough to hold two sets of quilts, but it is not a box. There are wheels under the bag, which can be pulled open. You can go and see if you can buy this kind of bag. No, I think it's better than a big suitcase. It can be loaded lightly. I used a baby bag (my uncle gave me a genuine one). I'm not sure. ) This place is mainly to enlarge items, such as towels and quilts, and things that you can't take with you, such as shampoo and Swiss knives. Be sure not to be overweight! According to how much money per catty, overweight is not cost-effective.
Carry-on: You can carry a small suitcase on the plane, but there are still things that can't fit. Then prepare a small luggage bag of the same size, that is, pull it up and put it on your small suitcase, so that you can carry two bags in one hand and drag your big luggage in the other. It is recommended to take books, clothes and laptops with you, because the weight carried with you is generally greater than the weight of free shipping. Then there is the question of how to package it.
I searched a lot on the internet before I left, but I found it very impractical after I came. Actually, I brought a bunch of things that I didn't need to bring.
The following recommendations are all my personal opinions. I hope everyone can make a brick.
Bedclothes:
If you come to study, please know what the school dormitory will provide. For example, even if the school does not provide pillows, it is ok to buy them. Eight is very expensive. There is no need to bring eight pillows. People who recognize pillows will bring their own pillows. This is everyone's own consideration. Don't worry about changing towels and washing things here for a few hours in the morning. If you are afraid of cold, you can change it to one with cold because the air conditioner here is very low, often only about 16 degrees. When I first arrived, I was exposed to the cold. I'm going back to China to enjoy the cool and keep cool this summer vacation. . . Other small things such as pillow towels (at most 2) towels (washing face, wiping feet, wiping table, etc. 4.5. )
Clothes and shoes: don't bring clothes in autumn and winter. This is nonsense. Even if you return home during the winter vacation, you can go to the airport to let the person who picks you up change clothes. There is no need to bring more clothes, because the clothes are heavy, and there are many good brands of clothes here, which are cheaper than those in China. So it's almost enough to bring about two sets when you come to buy it. You can take a long-sleeved coat if you are afraid of the cold. Classrooms are generally air-conditioned, with cold air blowing 16 degrees. My breath is freezing. You can bring a formal suit to class. It's also cool to wear cheongsam on the wrong festival. They are also sold here, but they are not made in China. There is no rule prohibiting slippers from entering serious occasions. Anyway, you can wear slippers to class, so you can bring eight slippers if you wear shoes. My suggestion is that you can bring cosmetics and clothes to buy the former, and the latter is not expensive! China bought shoes, sandals, cool shoes and so on. Not too heavy. The shoes here are super expensive! The feeling is that the shoes in the new center (even the beautiful things like the lotus pond in the new center are not available) are sold for N times, which are expensive and ugly, with poor quality, easy to break and easy to kick. By the way, don't forget to add some pairs of socks, which are not heavy anyway, and don't take up much room for toiletries: you can bring some toothbrushes, which are not heavy anyway, but you don't need to bring a lot of expensive toothpaste here, mostly black, Colgate's shampoo and bath products. It is very heavy, and general brands such as Lux and Rejoice are sold here. Unless you like a domestic brand very much, you can consider bringing a bottle (I like domestic bee flower conditioner, so I brought a big bottle that I haven't used up for half a year ~). I don't need to bring any good brands here, and it's cheaper than China (the tariff is lower than China). After 8 years, if you persist, you can also bring a domestic brand of soap carving. Buy transparent soap 10 yuan now.
Electrical appliances: I have seen it on the Internet before. Be sure to bring a charger and rechargeable batteries. I was cheated badly. It's no use bringing a bunch of T-T laptops. They are also sold in stores, so I brought them from China. If not, I can consider buying it.
There is no simplified Chinese system software here, only traditional Chinese and English (not to mention Malay)
So you can bring a simplified installation disk.
3 yuan, the computer city, has it.
After the other systems are installed, go to Xunlei to download a ~ mobile hard disk. It is very useful. Many of our classmates are considering buying eight computers here recently, which is more expensive than buying computer accessories in China. It is strongly recommended that China buy it and bring it here!
You know, nine times out of ten these things in the world are made in China.
This is a daily - happened thing. The price of the same thing is the same, but one is RMB and the other is Malaysian ringgit, which is more than 1 times more expensive.
For example, the rubber pad of my mouse pad bought 10 RMB Malay from China Disneyland, and I saw that it sold 10 RMB (about RMB 24 yuan).
Headphones, cameras, mice, mouse pads, game controllers, USB drives, N-converter keyboards (preferably connected to notebooks), card readers ... Everything that needs it is the best ... China bought an electronic dictionary that is super useful. I prefer BBK series and Noah's Ark, which are not bad. Wen Quxing should be old, not so good. I think it's okay to use China's mobile phone. If you want to consider changing your mobile phone, then two. In this case, if you are used to using high-end machines, it is cheaper to buy them. If you are used to using low-end machines, it is cheaper to buy conversion plugs in China. The plug here is different from that in China, so if you have China's electrical appliances (such as the charger of mobile phone digital camera), you need to change the plug before you can use it.
You can buy it at home or come and buy it.
But if China has more appliances (including mobile phone electronic dictionary charger, digital camera charger, MP3 charger, etc. ).
It will be more convenient to bring a wiring board from China. Drugs:
You can prepare some commonly used drugs for relieving pain, diminishing inflammation, relieving cough and treating colds.
Especially after the arrival of western medicine, you may not be able to find the medicine you are used to, such as eating wisdom teeth and adding spiramycin. I can't find a place to buy T-T at all. Here are all direct English names. . .
Chinese medicine and Chinese patent medicine are also sold here eight times. As far as I can see, the medicines in China are not as good as those in China (well, maybe it's because I've been staying in the best pharmacy in Chengdu and my eyes are higher):
Our school has a kitchen where we can cook by ourselves, so we need spices and so on.
We often ask people to help us bring them: (Because I come from Sichuan, most of them are what Sichuan food needs. I'm not sure about other places)
Hot pot bottom material douban pepper chicken essence
Recently, I saw lobster sauce sold in the supermarket.
Instant noodles here can bring some instant noodles, influenced by Islam (halal can't touch lard). They don't have as many flavors as China, so they may not be used to it.
I like the rest myself. I brought a lot of YOYO chicken feet, great veal, and cleaned it up after dinner. . . . Other daily necessities: it is best to bring a set of chopsticks. Many sets are sold here. There is no need for a Swiss army knife. It is suggested that you can use a convenient pen, such as cutting fruit and opening cans. Especially for girls who pay more attention to the appearance of pens, China had better bring pens. Only T-T books with standard appearance are super things. Don't take too much. It is really impossible to download the electronic version online. Computers, electronic dictionaries and computers can all read e-books now. You can also buy toilet paper with Chinese documents here. The paper quality here is not very good. Good quality will be expensive. If you have any requirements for paper quality, you'd better bring some yourself. For example, there is a sheet piling in my boyfriend's box, which is full of heart-to-heart sanitary napkins for girls. I have seen it here and it is high.
If you are used to using other brands, you'd better bring them. I use them all anyway, especially the pads. You'd better take more birth control pills (I thought about this, too). The TT here is usually Durex, but Jasper is not used to using the latter's own contraceptives. You need a doctor's certificate to prescribe the necessary contraceptives.
The last and most important thing is one word-money!
Although there seems to be a clear stipulation on how much RMB cash is allowed to leave the country.
But you won't open the box and check how much you have.
My advice is to bring enough! I don't care about the rules
Anyway, when I first came here, I brought more money than I asked for.
Because I just arrived and I have to pay tuition, tens of thousands of dollars. If I bring it according to the regulations, I will have no money after paying the tuition.
According to our experience, if you want to give you money at home after coming over, you must first apply for a bank card here, but you must have a student visa and a school certificate to apply for a bank card.
When you come to China, your visa is actually only a tourist visa, and the student visa can only be processed for you after you come.
The Malaysian government is inefficient, and it takes at least 1 week to get a bank card.
What should I do if I have no money these days and it is very troublesome?
And there are many things to buy when you are new here, so you must bring enough money.
Some carry-on luggage is stuffed in the corner of the checked bag, some are in the bag, and some are on the body.
Just bring RMB. It's convenient to change money here. That's about it. . .
Think about it again and add it. . . .
