Guangxi technological college of machinery and electricity, founded in 1958, is located on the beautiful Acacia Lake and Yongjiang River in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi, the "China Greentown". It is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education and affiliated to the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
It is one of the first batch of national demonstration backbone higher vocational colleges in Guangxi, an excellent school for evaluating the talent training level of higher vocational colleges in China, one of the eight demonstration higher vocational colleges in China, and a high-quality school under the National Action Plan for Innovation and Development.
The school covers an area of 776 mu, with a school building area of 550,000 square meters and fixed assets of 780 million yuan. At present, there are 30,398 registered students, which is the first vocational college in Guangxi with more than 10,000 full-time students.
