Fang Xiaohong's Social Evaluation

Under the background of media urbanization, Professor Fang Xiaohong has keenly observed the mistakes and shortcomings of contemporary China media in rural reporting. From 65438 to 0999, he began to systematically study the national project "The Interactive Relationship between Rural Mass Media and Political, Economic and Cultural Development in Southern Jiangsu". She led more than 200 teachers and students from the School of Journalism and Communication of Nanjing Normal University to conduct four surveys, including interviews with rural audiences in Jiangsu, Jiangsu media, rural families in southern Jiangsu and Nanjing city. The main research result of the survey, Mass Media and the Countryside (Zhonghua Book Company), is both practical and forward-looking for the development of rural media, and some viewpoints in the book are also inseparable from Professor Fang's long-term academic thought of studying history.
