●2.4LSIDI intelligent direct injection engine
First of all, the power system of the LaCrosse eAssist hybrid car adopts 2.4LSIDI intelligent direct injection engine, and adopts many advanced technologies such as in-cylinder direct injection, D-VVT electronic variable valve timing system and the latest ECM engine management module. The maximum power of the engine is137 kw (186 HP)/6200 rpm, and the maximum torque is 240 Nm /4800 rpm. This engine was just introduced to China by Buick this year. It can be said that compared with the previous 2.4 indirect injection engine, both the data and the actual driving experience should be improved.
● 15kW motor
2.4LSIDI intelligent direct injection engine is equipped with a new generation of high-performance compact induction motor next to the cylinder block. With liquid cooling, the maximum power 15.3kW (about 20PS), auxiliary power 65N·m torque and power generation 15kW can be provided for the engine. The motor can assist the engine to start; Provide extra power for the engine when accelerating uphill; When the fuel is cut off during deceleration, the running state of the vehicle can be stabilized.

The LaCrosse eAssist hybrid car is the first hybrid car equipped with lithium batteries at the same level in China. The battery capacity is 4.4Ah, and it can provide 1 15V/ 15kW power supply. Forced cooling by air provides motor power when stopping, which can recover braking energy and excess energy of the engine. The integrated power converter can also output 12V DC.
The power density of lithium battery is twice that of nickel-hydrogen battery. Prior to this, Ni-MH batteries were mostly used in hybrid vehicles, which had certain safety hazards. Lithium battery is a relatively stable and safe battery type. The self-discharge rate is less than 1%/ month, which is less than 1/20 of Ni-MH battery. The weight is only1/5 of that of ordinary nickel-hydrogen batteries with the same power; Long cycle life, no need to replace the whole vehicle within 10 years, 240,000 kilometers.
● Special 6-speed automatic manual transmission
The LaCrosse EASupport hybrid car uses a 6-speed automatic manual transmission different from the ordinary version of LaCrosse. The redesigned gearbox gear system reduces the moment of inertia of the system and improves the transmission efficiency and shift response. The main reduction ratio is adjusted from 1:3.23 to 1:2.64 to reduce fuel consumption. The newly added electric oil pressure retaining device ensures that the gearbox is on standby when the parking engine stops working.
●eAssist mixed management system/instrument display.
The management system is the coordinator of all work. It is integrated in the engine controller, and controls the engine, motor, start-stop function and braking energy recovery system with software to ensure smooth system switching under different driving conditions. The vehicle instrument cluster equipped with eAssist is slightly different, including the eAssist efficiency meter located under the speedometer and the AUTOSTOP indicator located on the tachometer. The driver information center (DIC) in the center of the dashboard is also equipped with a power flowmeter, which displays the working mode of EASupport system and the charging state of lithium battery in real time, and indicates the power flow direction through animation.
Low rolling resistance green tire
In order to reduce fuel consumption, the LaCrosse EASupport hybrid vehicle adopts 2 15/55R 1793H low rolling resistance green tires, which can effectively reduce rolling resistance. If the original size of 225/55R 17 or 245/45R 18 is changed to 2 15 tire width, the fuel consumption will be reduced for non-hybrid vehicles.
