After graduating from graduate school, he was engaged in the research and development of arch dam CAD in Central South Institute. This achievement won the second prize of 1990 National Science and Technology Progress Award, and was listed as a scientific and technological information achievement by the Ministry of Electric Power, which was promoted to the whole country. 1990 served as supervisor, deputy director and director of Jinggangchong Hydropower Station in Jiangxi Province, 1993 served as deputy chief engineer of scientific research institute, 1995- 1997 served as chief engineer of Meitan Hydropower Station in dapu county, Guangdong Province, and 1997-2000 served as chief engineer. 2006 54 38+0-2008 Deputy Chief Engineer of Central South College. In August 2008, he served as a senior consultant of Feiyu Hydropower Engineering Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. in Changsha High-tech Development Zone, engaged in technical consulting work.
1989 was rated as an engineer, 1993 as a senior engineer, and in 2003, he was rated as a professor-level senior engineer, with the certificate of national registered civil engineer and the certificate of chief supervision engineer, and was a member of the hydraulic professional committee of China Institute of Hydropower. He has published 28 papers successively in Journal of Water Resources and Hydropower, Journal of Hohai University, Journal of Fujian Hydropower, Journal of Hunan Hydropower, Journal of Central South Hydropower and Journal of Northeast Hydropower, and edited Quality Supervision of Hydropower Engineering (600,000 words), which was published by China Electric Power Press in 2003.
