After the implementation of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses", the annual examination of driving licenses was cancelled, and it was replaced by the validity period of 6 years, 10 years and long term. There is also national networked information management. However, B 1, B2, A 1, A2, A3 (formerly A and B) must submit the physical examination form to the vehicle management office within 15 days after the first date of your driver's license. Other cards do not need an annual physical examination. Card B must submit the physical examination form to the vehicle management office on time within 15 days after your first license. Otherwise, if it is overdue for one year, your driver's license will be automatically cancelled by the vehicle management office.
Annual examination of driver's license: Generally speaking, the annual examination is to see if you have violated the rules. If you are fined, you must first eliminate the points before you can pass the annual review. Secondly, you must submit the documents (physical examination form) to prove that you are qualified, and you must also pay some fees, including the membership fee of the drivers' association, the fee of the Red Cross and so on.
New regulations for annual examination of driver's license: overdue fine
Failure to renew the card will be punished, and the degree of punishment will be divided into three stages according to the length of expiration.
Within one year overdue
If a driver drives a vehicle on the road with an expired driver's license within one year, he will be fined 1 1,000 yuan in accordance with the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China. However, within one year after the expiration of the validity period, the driver can still go to the traffic control department to renew his driver's license. However, at the time of replacement, you will be fined 200 to 500 for your "failure to participate in the verification within the time limit".
One to three years overdue
However, if the license is not renewed for more than 1 year and less than 3 years, the driver's license will be in the state of "cancellation and withdrawal", and the driver can only renew the license if he attends the legal inspection at the vehicle management office. In the meantime, if he drives on the road, he will be recognized as driving without a license, and the insurance company will not pay the claim after the traffic accident.
More than three years overdue
If the license is not renewed for more than three years, the driver's license will be cancelled and the driver needs to obtain a new driver's license.
