With the implementation of the Outline, family education has aroused widespread concern and attention of preschool educators, and has become the general trend of preschool education reform and development. Then, how to mobilize the enthusiasm of parents and make them pay attention to, care for and actively cooperate with kindergarten education? How can we make scientific use of "parents", a "living resource" of preschool education?
In recent years, under the guidance of the spirit of the new outline, we have established a cooperative and complementary relationship between kindergartens and families through various effective channels. In the two-way interaction, we awaken parents' subjective consciousness, change parents' educational concept, improve parents' educational level, and work together with parents to raise their children's healthy growth. Practice has proved that we attach importance to the excavation of educational resources in the course of curriculum construction, especially the excavation of family educational resources, and have indeed achieved certain results.
First, renew ideas and change roles.
At work, I feel that if the concept is not completely changed, it will not only continue to restrict the smooth development of parents' work, but also have a negative impact on the overall education of kindergartens. The only way to change parents' work is to use the new concept of "outline" to lead us to reflect on our past work and complete the role change as soon as possible.
First, at work, teachers in our kindergarten really regard parent work as an important part of kindergarten work, attach great importance to it and resolutely implement it. Establish and improve the system of parents' work in class, make parents' work plan every semester, and incorporate parents' work into the important content of final summary, appraisal and assessment, so as to truly standardize, institutionalize and regularize parents' work.
Second, take parents and our teachers as the main bodies to promote children's development. On the issue of educating children together, the two sides should respect each other, trust each other, cooperate on an equal footing, communicate sincerely, and accomplish the mission of parenting with one heart and one mind. Thirdly, on the issue of family communication, our teachers can effectively establish the concept of serving parents, treat parents as equal partners, be sincere friends of parents, listen to their opinions patiently, and help parents solve the problems encountered in the process of parenting. At the same time, put yourself in the other's shoes, calmly think about your parents' impatience and impulsiveness, and learn to be considerate. As long as we have a sincere attitude and proper methods, we will certainly win the support and support of our parents.
Second, in communication, become sincere understanding.
The essential feature of family education is a word "* * *", that is, kindergarten and family, teachers and parents cooperate to promote the development of young children. Family and kindergarten are both important environments for cultivating young children. Parents and teachers are the subjects and partners in educating children. The concept of environmental education should be recognized, supported and participated by parents, which requires us to change the focus of parents' work from "educating parents" to "equal cooperation between families".
For example, at the initial parent-teacher meeting, we discussed with parents on the theme of "how to create a good environment for children", so that every parent could talk about the understanding of environmental creation. We find that some parents pay great attention to creating a beautiful physical environment for their children, but they are ignorant or unconscious about the creation of their psychological environment. Some parents unilaterally understand the environment as environmental protection; Some parents know that creating a good environment is beneficial to their children's development, but they don't know where to start, especially how to create a good psychological environment. Some parents pay close attention to the new trend of preschool education, often read relevant materials and consult relevant experts, and some practice based on expert theory. After parents' free conversation and communication, we theoretically promoted and classified the small practices that parents consciously or unconsciously did for children in their lives and families, and made a detailed analysis of individual practices worthy of promotion. Parents have lamented: "I didn't expect such a simple action and such a simple sentence to have such a great impact on children." In this way, parents' correct educational methods and practices are affirmed, parents can experience their own educational strength and role, enhance their confidence in education, have a more comprehensive understanding of the creation of the environment, and further understand the importance of the material environment, psychological environment and even social environment to young children.
Third, interactive participation, become a positive responder.
With the communication and understanding between families, parents began to actively participate in the implementation of educational activities. Every family and children actively participate in the layout of the theme environment. Parents help their children collect information. At the beginning of the implementation of the new curriculum, when we presented the places that need parents' cooperation in the theme activities to parents through the home contact window, we did not get their support and cooperation, and parents did not know what these things were going to do. They just find the teacher annoying. Every day they either want this or that, and at first they give you perfunctory answers. A little longer, I will simply ignore you, and some even say to your face, "why do you want everything?" You can't prepare yourself ... "Faced with this situation, we held a parent-teacher meeting in time and gave them a detailed introduction from the new educational concept, talent concept, characteristics and significance of the new curriculum. Let parents know the goal of kindergarten education, which is the basic condition to reflect parents' dominant position in preschool education, realize home communication and realize synchronous education. In order to let parents know the goals of kindergarten education in a timely and comprehensive way, and cooperate with kindergarten education, we have achieved the \ "four announcements \": at the beginning of school, we will announce the training goals of children in the semester; Publish monthly work objectives and monthly plans in Jiayuan Bridge Park; Publish a week's activity schedule every week and publish what you have learned every day. Before launching a new theme activity, firstly, the theme lesson plan and network diagram are prominently displayed on the theme wall, so that parents and children can pay attention to it purposefully first, and columns such as "Please cooperate" and "Warm Tips" are added to the bulletin board, so that parents can help complete the goal.
From then on, parents' ideas began to change. As soon as their ideas changed, our work went smoothly. Parents and children collect waste materials together; Do experiments together, observe together and record together; Look up books and find information together; Other parents send us CDs, books, etc. In the whole process, I saw the shadow of a "learning society" and the hope of children's lifelong learning. I see that our parents have also changed from the role of bystander, supervisor and instructed in early childhood education to the role of cooperator and supporter in early childhood education.
Five, to carry out equal dialogue and exchange, is an effective way to enhance the understanding of their homes and promote communication.
In real life, there is often a certain distance and various disharmonies between home and home, and the educational effect is bound to be affected. Therefore, our garden has improved the way of parent-teacher conference, from the original teacher concentration mode to a tea party where a hundred schools of thought contend. Its purpose is to close the distance between teachers and parents, so that they can have a voice in equal dialogue, thus eliminating barriers and effectively solving problems in early childhood education. For example, when the parents' meeting was held this semester, some parents raised the practical problem of how to realize the young connection when entering the large class. Our solution is to ask parents to help their children make a good schedule, arrange time to study and play with their children every day, and cultivate their fun in learning. Sixth, make full use of parents' resources to create a new situation of family interaction and cooperation.
The fundamental purpose of family communication is to make full use of parents' resources and realize family interaction and cooperation. This is the starting point and destination of kindergarten parents' work. "Interactive cooperation" is an important concept of Reggio's educational orientation. Reggio advocates that children's learning is not independently constructed, but under many conditions, mainly in the process of interaction with parents, teachers and peers. In the process of interaction, children are both beneficiaries and providers of educational resources. It can be seen that only the interaction and cooperation of the family can bring the best experience to children. Therefore, in carrying out class theme education activities, we should make good use of parents' resources, let parents participate in educational activities and assist in completing teaching tasks. For example, this semester we launched the theme "Great China people". During the activity, we mobilized parents to collect relevant pictures and materials, such as photos of ancient buildings, travel photos, photos of places of interest, handicrafts, athletes and astronauts from all over the country and related materials, for children to understand and explore in the information column. This kind of educational effect can't be achieved by teachers only by preaching. For another example, my class has set up a "treasure chest" for teachers, parents and children to collect non-toxic waste items in their lives, and enrich them into the activity area after treatment and disinfection for children to operate and explore. On the class display platform, most of the works on display are completed by parents and children under the guidance of teachers, and they usually use harmless waste materials in their lives together. On the occasion of "June 1st" in 2007, our garden successfully held a "fashion show with big hands holding small hands". One part of the activity is that parents use waste materials to design a dress for their children to show, so parents and children use non-toxic and harmless waste materials in their lives to make clothes and participate in the catwalk. With the participation of parents, this work not only saves time and effort, but also deepens the affection between parents and children through parent-child activities.
Seven, guide parents to scientific parenting, so that family education can further form a joint force.
Spreading scientific parenting knowledge and helping parents to improve their family education ability is an unshirkable responsibility of kindergartens and one of the core contents of kindergarten parents' work. In order to do this work well, we have mainly taken two measures. First, make effective use of the propaganda media, and regularly publicize scientific parenting to parents in the family contact column and kindergarten website. Secondly, make rational use of value resources and hold tutor lectures. For example, in this semester's parent-teacher conference, we invited Zhang Ziyang's father, zhangxin, the captain of Yinshan Fire Squadron, to give a lecture on fire protection knowledge to parents. This attempt provides a platform for communication between parents of young children, which is very popular with parents. Captain Zhang explained the common sense of fire prevention in a simple way with a case. Parents listened attentively and seriously. After the lecture, Captain Zhang patiently answered various questions raised by parents. The atmosphere is lively and harmonious, and the effect is good, which is well received by parents.
In practice, I am fully aware that our close contact and cooperation with parents are all for the same goal-the healthy growth of children. Now, with the rapid change of the situation and the continuous enrichment of parents' educational knowledge, their demand for education is getting higher and higher. By actively participating in planning and design with teachers, their awareness of children's education is getting stronger and stronger. In the systematization of preschool education, parents' work plays an irreplaceable role. In practice, I feel that parents' work is an important yardstick to measure the teaching quality of a kindergarten. In the new historical period, winning one parent means winning one hundred parents, and giving up one parent means giving up one hundred parents. Whoever does the parents' work solidly and properly can seize the commanding heights of early childhood education, thus gaining social affirmation and recognition of our work. Early childhood education is not just kindergarten education. Kindergartens should give full play to various educational resources of families. Parents' advanced educational ideas and successful parenting experience, different knowledge and professional backgrounds, and different family environments all provide rich educational resources for young children. Therefore, for the sake of children and the future of the motherland, we should "join hands" with our parents!
