If you buy a new house in Suzhou now, you need to pay 2 cents for the maintenance fund below 90 square meters, 1 cent deed tax, 1.5 cents for above 90 square meters, 1.5 cents for below 90 square meters, and 5.3 cents for value-added tax and 2 cents for personal income tax for the second-hand house property ownership certificate less than two years. If the real estate license is over two years, you don't have to pay 5.3 VAT. If the real estate license is over five years, you only need to pay the deed tax.
