Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts History

Xi Academy of Fine Arts originated in the Republic of China (1948) and was founded in the Jinsui Fine Arts School in the Jinsui Border Region. Since then, it has been renamed as Art College of Northwest Military and Political University, Northwest Art College, Northwest Art College and Northwest Art College, and 1960 was named Xi 'an Art College. Marshal He Long, the first president, is the only professional art institution in Northwest China. During the Cultural Revolution, it merged with xi 'an Conservatory of Music to form Shaanxi Academy of Art. 1980 was separated from the Conservatory of Music and used the name of Xi 'an Academy of Fine Arts. There are two existing school sites, the former site is located on the Shaoling River in Chang 'an County, and the new site is located on Lingyuan Road in Yanta District. The two buildings cover an area of * * * 230,000 square meters with a building area of 65,000 square meters. The hospital is located in Xi 'an, the ancient capital, adjacent to the Little Wild Goose Pagoda and facing the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The campus environment is elegant, covering an area of 300 mu, with a school building area of 10 million square meters. Modern teaching facilities and student apartments provide students with a good learning and living environment. College enrolls students for the whole country. It is one of the institutions of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Department of Education to recruit foreign students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and approved by the the State Council Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs to accept the qualification of foreign cultural and educational experts. The library has a collection of 6.5438+0.7 million books, including more than 30,000 art albums, more than 10,000 books/kloc-0, more than 300 teaching cultural relics and more than 700 paintings. Since its establishment, it has trained 10000 fine arts professionals.
