How did Shenyang, the elder brother of Northeast China, rise?
In this fertile land in the northeast, between the white mountains and the black waters, there is a large-scale urban community with unique regionality. Among these brotherly cities in Northeast China, Shenyang is undoubtedly the eldest brother in Northeast China for a long time. How did this Northeast Brother get to Northeast C? Figure/Hunhe Scenery 0 1. Shenyang, a military town in northern Xinjiang, is located in the transition zone between Liaohe Plain and Liaodong Mountain Area. Since ancient times, this is the place where different civilizations meet. Nomadic tribes who came down from the Mongolian plateau and lived on aquatic plants, fishing and hunting tribes who fished and hunted between Baishan and Heishui in the east, and merged and collided between Hunhe and Qipanshan. In the 28th year of Yan Zhaowang (284 BC), Qin Kai, a general of Yan State, traveled thousands of miles north, and built the Great Wall from Zaoyang to Xiangping (Liaoyang). The word "Liaodong" has since become synonymous with the Liaohe Plain where Shenyang is located. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, the center of Liaodong was in Xiangping City (now Liaoyang City), located in Shenyang, a small Liaohe River (formerly known as Hunhe River), and was named Houcheng (military fortress) because it was in the transitional zone between plain and mountain. Houcheng is located at the junction of Hunhe River, which rushes out of the mountainous area of Liaodong. It is adjacent to Koguryo and Luan's hometown in the east, and faces Donghu tribe across the Liaohe River in the west. As a captain's seat in the middle of Liaodong County of the Han Empire (the minority affairs in the east, middle and west and the military and political affairs in Liaodong are all in the charge of the captain). The Qianhouhou County of Shenyang enjoys a very advantageous military geographical position. Figure/Western Han Liaodong County 02. Shenyang was born in Shenyang. One of them originated in Shen Zhou, which was established in the middle of the Tang Dynasty. Its name came directly from the Xuanzong period of Hunhe River, when it was renamed Shenshui. Koguryo, the northeast power, was destroyed and rose in the Bohai Sea and Liaodong mountainous areas. From the beginning, it devoted itself to the development of the vast hinterland in the north. Shenzhou has become a transportation and trade hub connecting Liaohe Plain and Northeast Asia, and Korean ginseng, fur, qidan cattle and horses turn to traffic in Shenzhou between Hunhe River and Liaohe River. The foundation stone was laid in the old city of Shenyang, north of Hunhe River. Figure/After Bohai Kingdom and Liaodong flourished in the Tang Dynasty, the struggle between the Central Plains dynasty and nomadic people entered a new stage. The Huns, Turks, Uighurs and other ethnic groups that once rose in the northwest all ended, and the Khitan, Nuzhen and Mongolian black powder appeared in the northeast. The northeast border, which was originally remote and had nothing to do, began to become the front line of life and death in the Central Plains. The southwest of Shenzhou connects sixteen states of Youyun via Liaoxi Corridor, the northwest enters Huangshui River basin where Qidan originated along Liaohe River, the southeast faces the Korean Peninsula across Yalu River, and the northeast reaches Songnen Plain in the hinterland of Jin State via Yinzhou (Tieling), so its status as a transportation hub is no different from today. Only when the Khitan collected Liaodong can we get a glimpse of it, but Jurchen Liaoshen swept across the Central Plains, and even Genghis Khan, who was alive, sent Muqali to collect Northeast China before encircling Beijing. At that time, China was "safe in Northeast China and safe in the world", and as the core of land transportation in Northeast China, the prestige of China was growing day by day. In the first year of Dade in Yuan Dynasty (1297), Yuan Di took the meaning of Shenzhou and Liaoyang Old Town (Liaozhong District) and renamed Shenzhou as Shenyang. Became the Shenyang Road Management Office side by side with Liaoyang Road, and Shenyang began the era of self-reliance. Figure/Shenyang Road in Yuan Dynasty made Shenyang famous. It was the Northeast War in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and the pressure from the northeast frontier reached its peak. Jianzhou Nuzhen, who rose in the mountainous area of Liaodong, attacked all the way from the upper reaches of Hunhe River, first sweeping more than 100,000 crusaders in the Ming Dynasty in Salhu, and then conquering Shenyang City. In the bloody battle on both sides of the Hunhe River, Qi Jiguang's nephew Qi Jin led the last Qijia army and let the world know the ambition of Shenyang with all the martyrs. Figure/Hunhe bloody battle 03. What really pushed Shenyang to the lower altar of Shengjing was the post-Jin Xiongzhu Nurhachi. He pushed his way through the crowd and chose Shenyang, which has more convenient transportation and is closer to Nuzhen's hometown, as the capital. It is far away from the dangerous Ming water army, but it is convenient to contact with Mongolian ministries. It is a good place for jurchen to settle in the northeast. Figure/Nurhachi Shenyang and Liaoyang's northeast duel ended in Shenyang's last turn. The victory of Shenyang marked the victory of the northeast nation over the Central Plains Dynasty, which facilitated the Central Plains Dynasty to manage Liaoyang in Liaodong and replaced it with the Northeast selfish departmentalism Shenyang. Figure/The capital of Liaodong in the Ming Dynasty was once the birthplace of two emperors. This is a true portrayal of Shenyang in the Qing Dynasty. Nurhachi overhauled the Khan Palace in Shenyang. Huang Taiji honored Shenyang as "Shengjing", while the emperor shunzhi defined it as "Fengtianfu", which means "Fengtianfu". It took 1700 years for Shenyang to complete the leap from the county seat to the capital of a country. Just like the flying dragon among the pillars of the main hall, an ancient city that has been sleeping for thousands of years is taking off at this moment. Figure/Shenyang Forbidden City-The rise of the Dazheng Hall in Shenyang reflects the transformation of the geographical pattern of ancient China from northwest to northeast. Shenyang's position as a transportation hub determines its brotherly position in Northeast China and its irreplaceable core position in the era of Northeast selfish departmentalism. References: 1.
