In the forty-fourth year of Jiajing, Li Chunfang joined the cabinet to participate in maintenance. In the second year, Qin Long became the cabinet record. Later generations called him the prime minister of celadon, who was as famous as Yan Ne, Guo Pu and Wei Yuan. The reason for this title is that Jiajing, the emperor of Jiajing, once liked green characters very much, so he was very fond of good ministers who wrote green characters.

Li Chunfang, the top scholar, was selected to write green ci in Xiyuan, and the green ci written by Yan Ne and others was loved by Emperor Jiajing. Later, Li Chunfang's whole official career was managed by Emperor Jiajing, because he had such talents. Even after he joined the cabinet, his six promotions were specially approved by Emperor Jiajing, not elected by officials.

In addition to the prime minister of the Qing Dynasty, Li Chunfang also has the titles of "No.1 Prime Minister" and "Three Sages of Xinghua". Prime minister, because he won the first place in the imperial examination, the position of prime minister is rarely occupied by the first place, so he got this title. As for the three sages of Xinghua, it is because he, Gao Yi and Wu Tang are all from Xinghua, Yangzhou, sitting in the position of prime minister, so they are called the three sages of Xinghua by later generations.

It is one of China's four classical novels, and this book is a household name. As for his author, everyone knows that it is Wu Cheng'en. but

When Li Chunfang was young, he studied in Huayang Cave, Jiangsu Province, and was called Master Huayang Cave. In The Journey to the West that year, there was a poem describing the fragrance and richness of a barren mountain. The rainbow has been flowing for thousands of years, and electricity has traveled around Changchun to the west. Every grass and tree adds beauty, and wild flowers are rich and fragrant. Relics left by ancient elders. Today, I am very happy to see the treasures falling from the Imperial Palace. And if this poem is organized, it has traces of Li Chunfang's old man, which is consistent with the frontispiece of Huayang Cave's main school.

In addition, some people think that some time nodes in The Journey to the West are consistent with those in Li Chunfang. For example, when the Monkey King left Guo Huashan to learn from Bodhi, he said, "I have been away from home for twenty years. Li Chunfang was born in Zhongzhou and left home for 20 years. Later, Monkey King was named Monkey King, but he was in charge of some flat peaches and horses. This is consistent with Li Chunfang's failure to enter the cabinet.

Of course, this statement is only a different view put forward by some scholars. The Journey to the West's official statement was written by Wu Cheng'en.
