What is an invoice?
Invoice is a legal document used to record transactions and declare taxes. It is a receipt issued by the seller to the buyer to confirm the transaction amount, details of goods or services and related taxes and fees. Invoices have legal effect and can be used as the basis for taxpayers to pay taxes and reimburse expenses. Invoices usually include important information such as invoice header, invoice code, invoice number, transaction item, amount, tax rate and tax amount. Taxpayers need to properly keep invoices for tax declaration, tax inspection and related reimbursement.
