Guiyang No.1 Middle School was founded in 1906. Its predecessor was Guizhou Public School, which was founded by Shangshu, the former etiquette department of Qing Dynasty, and Shangshu Chen and Hua Zhihong, the etiquette department of late Qing Dynasty, on the basis of Guiyang High School. It is the first provincial-level first-class demonstration high school in Guizhou.

Founded in 1930, formerly known as "Guiyang County Middle School", it is an old school with a long history and glorious tradition. The school owns Tangyin Pavilion, a cultural relic protection unit in Guiyang. Guiyang Huaner Middle School was founded in 193 1, adjacent to Wenchang Pavilion, Guishan Academy and the former site of Guizhou Provincial Working Committee of Guiyang Underground Party. It is a provincial key middle school. The school was formerly Guiyang Girls' Middle School in Guizhou Province, and 1969 was renamed Guiyang No.2 Middle School.
4. Tsinghua Middle School (1938- Republic of China)

Guiyang Tsinghua Middle School is a public middle school. The school is located in Huaxi, a famous plateau pearl in Guizhou Province.
Founded in May 1938, the founders are all Tsinghua University graduates. Private Tsinghua Middle School in Guiyang, which was born to educate young people to resist Japan and save the country, has become an excellent school with far-reaching reputation among middle schools in Guizhou Province in a very difficult environment in a few years. In addition to having a faculty composed mainly of graduate students and graduates from Tsinghua University, it was also inseparable from the care and support of many experts and scholars who were enthusiastic about education at that time, social dignitaries and politicians in the Republic of China. Mei Yiqi, president of Tsinghua University, and Ren Ke, an educator, became honorary chairmen. The first headmaster was Wang Wanfu. 1951August, Tsinghua middle school was taken over by the state as a public school.
5. Xiuwen Middle School (1939- Republic of China 1508- Ming)
Xiuwen county Xiuwen Middle School, Guiyang, Guizhou.
Built in 1508, it is located on the highest mountain in xiuwen county. 1508, Wang Shouren (Mr. Yangming), a famous thinker and educator in Ming Dynasty, realized Taoism in Longchang and founded Longgang Academy, which laid a deep historical foundation for the birth of Xiuwen Middle School. In A.D. 1785, xiuwen county ordered Qin Rui to rebuild Longgang Academy and revive culture and education. 1939, Guizhou Provincial High School (now the predecessor of Guiyang No.1 Middle School) moved to Xiuwen to help Xiuwen build a junior high school, named as "Xiuwen Junior High School Attached to Guiyang High School in Guizhou Province" and renamed as "xiuwen county Junior High School" the following year. From 65438 to 0956, the school developed into a complete middle school and changed its name to "Xiuwen Middle School in Guizhou Province", which was one of the eight key middle schools in Guizhou Province at that time. The school environment is antique and full of books, and each building has an elegant name, which inherits the wisdom of Yangming.
