In A.D. 1785, xiuwen county ordered Qin Rui to rebuild Longgang Academy and revive culture and education. 1939, Guizhou Provincial High School (now the predecessor of Guiyang No.1 Middle School) moved to Xiuwen to help Xiuwen build a junior high school, named as "Xiuwen Junior High School Attached to Guiyang High School in Guizhou Province" and renamed as "xiuwen county Junior High School" the following year. From 65438 to 0956, the school developed into a complete middle school and changed its name to "Xiuwen Middle School in Guizhou Province", which was one of the eight key middle schools in Guizhou Province at that time.
