Therefore, to learn bioinformatics well, we must combine certain application fields. For example, the field of gene sequencing is very hot now, but what we need to know is what the purpose of sequencing is. An important field is the diagnosis of genetic diseases, so is it enough to diagnose genetic diseases directly with bioinformatics technology? This is not enough, we need to know the standard of ACMG, medical penetrance and other medical genetics knowledge.
Except for a few big cows engaged in the field of bioinformatics, such as BLAST and BWA comparison algorithm, the remaining colleagues still need to find application fields to continue to deepen.
