Zuo Liangyu (1599 ~ 1645), a general in the late Ming Dynasty, was born in Linqing, Shandong. At the beginning, he fought against the Qing army in Liaodong and was promoted by Hou Xun. Later, in the war to suppress the peasant uprising army, he constantly expanded his army and became a general, becoming increasingly arrogant and self-respecting. In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (1644), Ningnan Bo was awarded in March. Nanming Emperor (Zhu Yousong) was established and promoted to Hou, the first town in the world, Wuchang. At this time, Ma Shiying and Ruan Dacheng in Hong Guang regime used things to exclude Lindong party member. He defended Lindong Party and had personal ambitions. On March 23rd, the first year of Hong Guang (1645), he set out from Wuchang and entered Nanjing in the name of Jun Qing. Not long after, he died of illness on the Jiujiang ship. Zi Menggeng led his troops to attack the Qing Dynasty.
