First, choose vocational high schools, and public vocational high schools are preferred.
Generally speaking, the current vocational high schools can be divided into three categories: public, private and public-private partnerships.
There is also a public-private partnership, public land, and private individuals or companies pay for building houses, recruiting teachers and managing them. At present, this form of vocational high school is less and less.
According to the above classification, my personal suggestion is that when choosing a vocational high school, public service is the first choice. After all, it is more secure and the education is more secure.
Of course, this should also be based on the characteristics of children. Children with poor self-discipline are still suitable for schools with strict management; On the contrary, if you have strong self-management ability, you can go to a relatively relaxed school.
Second, when choosing a major, we should choose the most suitable one according to the characteristics of students.
The most important thing in choosing a vocational high school is to choose a major. Many times, our students and parents like to follow the trend. When others say which major is good for employment, they will flock to them. In fact, always remember that there is no best, only the most suitable major!
Personally, for boys, electromechanical, electronic electrician, auto repair, computer and architecture are more suitable. I am a student of automobile maintenance, and now I am a senior mechanic. My monthly income is 5-8 times that of me!
For girls, kindergarten teachers, secretaries, medical care, clothing and so on may be relatively suitable. Of course, some places have flight attendant majors, which are also very suitable for children with particularly good image and temperament and fluent English. One of my students is a flight attendant. I have been a flight attendant for more than ten years, and it is also very good.
But no matter what major you choose, you should consider it comprehensively according to your child's hobbies and characteristics: learning requirements, image temperament requirements, language ability requirements, etc.
Third, we should overcome the inferiority of vocational high schools and learn our major as well as any other industry.
The ancients said, "Seventy-two lines, each doing its own thing". If children's learning foundation is really poor, but it is meaningless to go to ordinary high schools, it should be very good to choose vocational high schools and five-year vocational high schools at an appropriate time.
But we must overcome a kind of "inferiority complex" mentality. In modern society, there is no distinction between high and low occupations. White cats and black cats are good cats that can make money. As long as you don't break the law, you can earn money by your own hands to support yourself and your family. Why not?
In short, for junior high school students, if they can't rely on ordinary high schools, then when choosing vocational high schools, they should first choose public ones; When choosing a major, consider the suitability; Psychologically, we must overcome our inferiority complex.
