① Broad sense: talents with information-related knowledge and skills, software and hardware equipment in information technology, systems and institutions providing information processing and services.
(2) Narrow sense: data and documents owned by enterprises, various economic information processed, sorted and used in production and operation management, intellectual property rights owned by enterprises, personal knowledge and experience of employees, and business competitive intelligence.
3) Types of enterprise information resources: Information may come from internal or external information sources, which may be objective, subjective or both.
① Internal information: business content that describes the characteristics of the enterprise.
② External information: the external environment of the enterprise or the observation and comments of the outside world on the enterprise.
③ Objective information: an objective or quantitative description of a known thing or state.
(4) Supervisor information: trying to describe the affairs that are unknown at present.

① External information sources: information from the government or related enterprises, domestic and foreign markets, economic departments at all levels, economic consulting institutions and forecasting institutions.
Including policy information, legal information, economic information, social and cultural information, scientific and technological information, geographical environment information, competitor information, consumer demand information, commodity sales information and international market information.
② Internal information sources: various records, data and report documents recorded in the process of production and operation within and between departments.
Including market monitoring information, financial management information, planning information, technology research and development and management information, investment management information, production management information, organization management information and marketing management information.
