Brilliance Automobile Group Holding Co., Ltd., referred to as "Brilliance Automobile Group", is a wholly state-owned company established with the approval of Liaoning provincial government in 2002. Its headquarters is located in Shenyang, a national key equipment manufacturing base known as the "Equipment Department", and it is the main force of independent brands in China automobile industry.
By the end of 20 1 1, Brilliance Auto Group has built two production and sales bases, five vehicle manufacturers, four engine manufacturers and a number of parts manufacturers in China, with two nationally recognized enterprise technology centers, nationally recognized laboratories and postdoctoral mobile workstations, and more than 500 technical patents (including nearly 100 international patents).
