The Scale History of School of Stomatology, Harbin Medical University

It is also the first stomatology department in Northeast China. After several generations of unremitting efforts, 1999 established the School of Stomatology.

The School of Stomatology is located in the bustling area of Harbin, with a construction area of 28,000 square meters. It has 100 staff, 100 chairs for comprehensive dental treatment and 80 beds in wards. The hospital has complete specialties and strong technical force. The annual outpatient volume is nearly 654.38 0.5 million, and there are 5,000 operations, among which the average annual operation of inpatients is 654.38 0.600. It is the largest dental medical center in Heilongjiang Province and enjoys a high reputation in China.

The stomatology major of Harbin Medical University is a key major in Heilongjiang Province. There are more than 60 teachers, 90% of whom have doctoral and master's degrees, including 2 doctoral supervisors and more than 20 master's supervisors. At present, there are several executive directors of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the chairman and vice-chairman of the Heilongjiang Stomatological Association and the heads of various academic groups, several members of the evaluation committee of the National Natural Science Foundation, and several deputy editors and editors of the National Journal of Stomatology.

Stomatological Hospital has 10 clinical departments, which are the first and second wards, such as oral and maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, children's dentistry, periodontal disease, prosthodontics, orthodontics, preventive health care, dental implant center, oral radiology and so on. Among them, oral and maxillofacial surgery has developed various flap repair techniques represented by fibula flap, and interventional therapy and cryotherapy of oral and maxillofacial tumors are in the leading position in China. Since the opening of the "Smile Train" three years ago, more than 3,000 children with cleft lip and palate have recovered, ranking first in the country. The department of oral endodontics has developed new technologies such as micro-root canal therapy, NiTi root canal preparation, ultrasonic root canal preparation and thermoplastic root canal filling, and developed the treatment of oral mucosal diseases with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. Periodontal disease department is the first comprehensive department of oral periodontal disease in our province, which adopts world-class equipment and technology to treat periodontal disease as a whole, so that the treatment of periodontal disease can reach a higher level. Children's dentistry has developed a domestic leading technology represented by jaw biting induction. The preventive health care department adopts advanced equipment and technology to carry out oral preventive health care and treatment of dental pulp, periodontal, mucous membrane and children's dental diseases, as well as general survey and medical consultation services of various oral diseases. The Department of Prosthodontics adopts the advanced technology in the world to carry out treatment projects such as precious metal porcelain crown and bridge, precision casting bracket, magnetic retainer and adhesive restoration. Does Orthodontics Eliminate Conventional Errors? In addition to deformity correction, a new technology represented by implant anchorage has been developed. The dental implant center introduces ITI and other international advanced implant systems, and carries out high-precision diagnosis and treatment projects represented by maxillary sinus lifting and extrusion technology and full-jaw implant restoration. A digital X-ray imaging system was introduced to oral radiology department to take pictures of parotid gland and temporomandibular joint.

The School of Stomatology has three levels of teaching management: master students, undergraduates and junior college students. It is also a training base for continuing education and adult education. Strong academic atmosphere, undertaking more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, obtaining more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research achievements, and publishing more than 500 academic papers/kloc-0.
