Overview of Hantai District
Hantai District, located in the center of Hanzhong Basin in Shaanxi Province, is the political, economic, cultural and information center of Hanzhong City. It is located in the south of Shaanxi Province, with Qinling Mountains in the north and Bashan Mountain in the south. It is located in the center of the beautiful and rich Hanzhong basin. The Hanjiang River, the mother river, originates in ningqiang county, Hanzhong, and flows from west to east. It covers an area of 556 square kilometers and governs 7 streets and 7 towns. The population is 575,200 (registered population of 20 15 years). Named after Liu Bangxing's palace, Guhantai. In 206 BC, Hanwang Liu Bang entered Hantai, built an altar to worship the generals, and established the Western Han Dynasty as his birthplace. In the Qing dynasty, it was the residence of Hanzhong magistrate yamen, and it was converted into a museum after liberation. 1996, the original Hanzhong city was changed into a district and named as "Hantai".
Hantai District is also a national advanced cultural work area, a national advanced health city, a national advanced science and technology area, a national advanced sports area and a national historical and cultural city.

The place name of Nanzheng was first recorded in Historical Records Chronology of Six Kingdoms in the eighteenth year of Zhou Dynasty: "(Qin) Li * * * was twenty-six years old, and (Qin) grew up in Zhengcheng, south of the city". There are three names: "Zheng Minnan Run", "Get out of danger safely" and "Sacrifice the city", among which "Zheng Minnan Run" is gradually recognized by everyone. According to Li Daoyuan's Notes on Water Classics in the Northern Wei Dynasty, "The name of Nanzheng began in Zheng Huangong. Duke Huan died of dog Rong, and his man ran south, so he was called Nanzheng. "
Nanzheng is a county with large tourism resources and the first batch of strong tourism counties in Shaanxi Province. There are Nanhu Park, Hongsi Lake, Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Memorial Hall, Liping National Forest Park and so on.
