Teaching Notes in Yunnan (2) Impression

Along the banks of the turbulent Nujiang River, there are many minority villages and towns scattered in a patchwork way. The area where I teach (Lushui City, the capital of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture) is located in Liuku Town in the lower reaches of Nujiang River.

Plenty of rain makes the river muddy yellow, and this season is anxious. Standing on the shoreline of the river, there is a whirlpool of anger at the foot, and the waves splash, sometimes roaring and sometimes roaring. Flat and smooth stone roads are paved along the banks of the Yangtze River. Green and straight tourist bananas, soft and romantic bamboos and huge hibiscus flowers stand quietly by the stone road. More tropical tree species, such as Ficus macrophylla, Ficus microphylla, Kapok and Isatis indigotica, spread out, and the tops of branches and leaves on both sides of the road shook hands in the sky, forming a natural "sunshade".

This riverside forest road, about five kilometers long, is an important landmark for Liuku people to live in harmony with nature.

Whenever night falls, the rustling rain beats on the window lattice, and the distant mountains embrace the lights on the mountainside, falling asleep with the rain, making Ye Xiang sprout.

Nujiang River has a pleasant environment and belongs to subtropical mountain forest climate. At an altitude of 800-3000, the content of negative oxygen ions is high. The school where I teach is 826 meters above sea level. In the current season, there is plenty of sunshine during the day and the temperature is high, about 28 degrees; It is cool and comfortable at night, and the temperature is about 2 1 degree.

In the morning, I am always awakened by the singing of birds outside the window. Abundant rain and strong sunshine give endless strength to the flowers and trees here, and also give the birds space and time to fly happily.

I will stick my head out of the window for the first time and try to breathe the fresh and natural breath, while the mountains in front of me are filled with clouds and white as jade.

Stepping on the fresh and natural wind and breathing the fresh air, every morning, I walk on the campus path with a happy mood. The clear and natural light music in the headphones massaged my heartbeat, and the quiet and distant scenery around me made me reluctant to leave.

When the sun slowly smiles from the clouds and gently pushes away the thin clouds, it is also time for me to calm down and prepare for work.

Be sure to walk by the river in the evening and feel the unique cultural atmosphere in minority areas.

A Nujiang River divides Liuku into Jiangdong section and Jiangxi section, so there are several cable suspension bridges connecting the two banks. The Lisu dance and the free singing of folk groups by Xiangyang Bridge still retain their own national characteristics. Regardless of age and sex, when the music starts, they will hold hands and sing and dance.

In Nujiang, where many ethnic groups live together, the Han nationality accounts for only 8%. There are more than a dozen ethnic minorities such as Lisu, Bai, Nu, Pumi and Dulong, and their surnames are also very interesting. For example, students: Mi Xiaomian, Xiao Xiaohong, Na and Lao Li. ...

Nujiang's diet structure is relatively simple, and rice noodles, Si Er, Erkuai, pea powder, Baba and other staple foods with national characteristics are still the main force in the street. When I first arrived in Nujiang, according to the guidance of Gaode Navigation, I found the "Peacock Dai Township", which ranked first in food, and tasted the authentic Dai flavor.

It's lunch time and this place is crowded with people. Short and big dining table, four-corner Xiao Mu stool, crowded on the ground, a large family, the food on the table can't be named. I leaned over and asked their names curiously. A smiling old man mumbled a lot. Although I didn't understand, I still looked at her with a smile.

I ordered tripe, Paha fried eggs, lemon fish and rice noodles, which are exactly the same as Thai food.

Dai is the main ethnic group in Thailand and Laos, accounting for 40% of the total population in Thailand, and Dai is the second largest ethnic group in Myanmar. There are 65438+26 million Dai people in China.

In the streets and alleys of Nujiang River, cyclists are rarely seen. The roads and buildings here are accompanied by rivers, with towering mountains on both sides, almost no flat and wide space, narrow roads and steep slopes. When I first arrived here, I was caught in a traffic jam on a steep slope. In a narrow alley with an inclination of 60 degrees, I kept stepping on the accelerator to prevent slipping down the slope, and my heart was full of sweat.

When you walk here, you also walk up or down the steep slope. At first, it will cause calf muscle pain, and the lumbar spine is also very uncomfortable after operation. But due to the stretching action when going uphill, my calf cramps often disappear at night.

When you leave the school, turn left, and you will find Bajiao River at Pailuba. Throughout the year, clear and transparent mountain springs gallop past, smashing pebbles at the bottom of the river and splashing white water. There is a small market on the shore.

When there is plenty of rain, every day, villagers put bags of freshly picked mushrooms on the roadside for sale, and there are also Lisu grandmothers holding hot corn Baba in baskets. Vegetables and fruits grow naturally, and there will be some small wormholes on the green leaves without pesticides.

There are not many varieties of crops here, because there are no large areas of flat land. Corn, potatoes and sweet potatoes are the most delicious staple foods. And the original bean products here are also well known. It is conceivable that a steaming piece of tofu is covered with local chopped parsley and chives, mixed with sesame oil, soy sauce and mature vinegar, and it tastes delicious.

On weekends, several colleagues in Zhuhai will travel together. Finally, try some local specialties. For example, Lisu's "Rainbow Rice":

Hand-grabbed rice and concentric wine are the highest etiquette for Lisu people to entertain guests. Hand-grabbed rice is cooked (steamed) by mixing rice with cereal sand, or bean rice and buckwheat rice, placed on a dustpan, and covered with roasted suckling pig meat, chicken nuggets, eggs, bacon, bamboo leaf vegetables, mushrooms, fungus, peanuts, cold wild vegetables, potatoes, loofah and other meat and vegetables.

Of course, the unique topography and multi-ethnic characteristics of the Nujiang River have made some places here jump from primitive society to modern society. Therefore, all aspects are very complicated and have a long way to go.

Zhuhai's assistance to Nujiang River belongs to all-round coverage. Enterprises, medical care, education and government departments all have their own personnel to form poverty alleviation teams, and a large number of special funds for poverty alleviation follow up.
