Fuwa is the mascot of the 29th Olympic Games held in Beijing in 2008. The designers are Wu Guanying, Han Meilin and others. It was officially released in 20051October11,just 1000 days before the opening of the 29th Olympic Games.

The mascot of the Olympic Games has five characteristics:
