Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center consists of accreditation hall and business center in Area A (East Wing), Jinguihua Hall, news center and exhibition hall in Area B (East Wing), administrative complex building in Area C (Wing), exhibition hall and conference center in Area D (Front Wing), exhibition hall in Area E (Middle Wing), office buildings, hotel services and commercial facilities in Area F and G (Tail Wing) and the front square. There are two large multifunctional halls (namely Jingui Flower Hall and Zhujin Flower Hall), 18 exhibition halls with different specifications (the largest exhibition hall 15800 square meters, the smallest exhibition hall 2 160 square meters), and 18 conference halls (rooms) and news centers with different specifications. The indoor exhibition area is 92,000 square meters, and 55,000 can be built.
The exhibition hall of the Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Minzu Avenue, the main road of the northern city, bordering the ASEAN Business District in the east and the fast ring road of the city in the west, overlooking the folk song lake, a large city hydrophilic park, and backed by Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area. It takes 0/5 minutes to drive to Nanning East Station (high-speed railway station)/KLOC-and 40 minutes to the airport. More than 30 bus lines stop around the exhibition hall, and the subway 1 line has the same name station in the exhibition center, which can directly reach the subway station from the exhibition hall through the exhibition hall business center. The main building of Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center is light, beautiful and transparent, located in the middle of the base, with a multi-function hall in front of it and a relatively independent exhibition center in the south. The two-story reinforced concrete columns on the natural masonry base support the unique roof, and the neat and orderly columns give the whole building a strong sense of rhythm. Abutment decorated with natural stone constitutes the visual foundation of the building, and the outdoor platform on the abutment provides outdoor activity space for exhibitors and can be used as an open-air exhibition venue. A group of roof flying frames with novel structure and unique shape run through the whole exhibition center above the central hall and exhibition hall, fully expressing the architectural characteristics of the exhibition center. The multi-function hall is located on the mountain with the elevation of 108 m (building elevation+10.00 m) at the head end of the main building. Its folded-plate dome is the crowning touch of the whole convention and exhibition center complex, supported by light steel truss, covered with translucent double-layer membrane and with heat insulation layer. Soft natural light enters the dome hall through the film, creating a unique space atmosphere. Behind it, a pair of "hind wings" spread out, echoing the distant "Zhu Jin Flower" [3].
The conference center is located under the multi-function hall (the building elevation is 0.00 m/ 99 m above sea level), with five conference halls that can be flexibly separated and used, as well as ancillary facilities such as restaurants. The conference center has a separate entrance, so it can be used separately from the exhibition center. In the mezzanine between the entrance floor of the exhibition center and the entrance floor of the conference center, there is an auxiliary room serving the conference function.
The exhibition halls of the convention and exhibition center are distributed on two floors. The spacious stairs and several escalators in the central hall connect the two floors. The elevation of the entrance floor of the exhibition center is +9.00 m/ 108 m, and the elevation of the upper exhibition hall is+22.5 m/121.5 m. The exhibition halls are arranged along the two sides of the central hall. The exhibition hall on the same floor can be combined into units of different sizes according to needs. At most, all the exhibition halls and the central hall on the same floor can be connected into a unit, or they can be divided into left and right halves along the main shaft. The southernmost exhibition hall on the ground floor is a horizontal super-large exhibition hall with an area of 5 040 m2, which can meet the area requirements of super-large exhibition venues for large-scale exhibitions. The clear height of the lower exhibition hall is 10 m, and the clear height of the upper exhibition hall is 10 ~ 15m. All exhibition halls can be lit on both sides, and the sunshine amount can be adjusted by shading equipment if necessary. The central hall is lit by the lower floors on both sides of the roof and facade, which mainly plays the role of the transportation hub of the exhibition center, and some areas can also be used as temporary exhibition venues when necessary.
Freight vehicles can drive directly into the exhibition hall. The replenishment traffic of the lower exhibition hall can directly reach the exhibition hall through the freight tunnel connecting the east and west replenishment areas. On the one hand, this design ensures the supply and operation of the exhibition center, on the other hand, it avoids building large ramp facilities in front of the building and damaging the image of the building. On the upper floor, freight cars can enter from the south side of the exhibition center and enter the exhibition hall through the cloister set in front of the facade of the exhibition hall. During the construction of the booth, trucks can pass through the exhibition hall and drive out from the secondary entrance on the south side through the central hall.
