By the way, can the coal-fired boiler room be located on the first floor of a multi-storey building?

I can't.

Boiler room should be an independent building.

When the boiler room is connected with other buildings or set in them, it is strictly prohibited to set it on the upper floor, lower floor, adjacent parts, main passages and both sides of evacuation exits in crowded places and important departments. And should be set in the first floor or basement close to the building exterior wall.

Boiler room should not be located in residential buildings.

See Code for Design of Boiler Room GB5004 1-2008 for details.

4 Layout of boiler room

4. 1 location selection

The main building and auxiliary building of the boiler room should be arranged as a whole. The main facade of the building in the boiler room area should face the main road, and the overall layout is reasonable and beautiful.

4.2.3 The architectural form and layout of industrial boiler room should be coordinated with the architectural style of the enterprise; The architectural form and layout of civil boiler room and regional boiler room should be coordinated with the architectural style of the city (region).

4.2.4 Buildings, structures and site layout in the boiler room area should make full use of the terrain, minimize the amount of excavation and filling, ensure smooth drainage, and prevent water from flowing into the basement and pipe trench.

4.2.5 The distances between the boiler room, coal yard, ash yard, oil storage tank and gas pressure regulating station and other buildings and structures shall conform to the existing national standards, such as Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings (GB500 16), Code for Design of Town Gas (GB50028) and related standards, and meet the requirements of installation, operation and maintenance.

4.2.6 The layout of coal conveying system should make use of the terrain to make the lifting height small and the transportation distance short. Coal yard and ash yard should be located on the windward side of the annual minimum frequency wind direction of main buildings.

4.2.7 The elevation of the indoor bottom floor of the boiler room building and the elevation of the top surface of the structural foundation should be more than 0. 15m higher than the outdoor ground or the surrounding ground. The ground elevation of boiler room and auxiliary room on the same floor should be consistent.

4.3 Layout of boiler room, auxiliary room and living room

4.3. 1 For a boiler room with rated evaporation of a single steam boiler of 1 ~ 20t/h or rated thermal power of a single hot water boiler of 0.7 ~ 14mw, its auxiliary rooms and living rooms should be arranged beside the fixed end of the boiler room. For a boiler room with rated evaporation of a single steam boiler of 35 ~ 75t/h or rated thermal power of a single hot water boiler of 29 ~ 70mW, the auxiliary rooms and living rooms can be arranged adjacent to or separately from the boiler room according to specific conditions.

4.3.2 The centralized instrument control room of the boiler room shall meet the following requirements:

1 should be arranged on the same floor as the operation floor of the boiler room;

2 should be arranged in a moderate location in front of the furnace for firefighters to observe and operate;

3 indoor light should be soft;

4 sound insulation glass observation window should be used towards the boiler operation surface;

5. Sound-proof doors should be used in the control room;

6 When it is arranged below the thermal deaerator and water supply tank and above the water pump room, effective anti-vibration and waterproof measures should be taken.

4.3.3 Water treatment system, heat exchange system, coal conveying system and large-capacity oil pump room shall be provided with local cabinet rooms of each system respectively.

4.3.4 The boiler room shall be equipped with auxiliary rooms for production such as repair room, instrument calibration room and laboratory, and living rooms such as duty room, dressing room, bathroom and toilet. It is not necessary when there is a living room available nearby. The second or third class of boiler room can be located in the lounge or merged with the dressing room on duty. When the boiler room is set according to the workshop and section, an office can be set up.

4.3.5 The laboratory shall be arranged in a place with good lighting, little influence of noise and vibration, and convenient sampling.

4.3.6 The arrangement of the coal conveying system in the boiler room should make the coal conveyed from the fixed end to the front of the boiler furnace.

4.3.7 The entrance and exit of the boiler room must meet the following requirements:

L there should be no less than 2 entrances and exits. But for an independent boiler room, when the total length of the boiler front walkway is less than 12m and the total construction area is less than 200m. , the entrance can be set to 1:

2 For the non-independent boiler room, its personnel entrance and exit must have 1 direct access to the outdoor;

When the boiler room is arranged in multiple floors, there should be no less than two personnel entrances and exits on each floor. Personnel entrances and exits on the floor should have safety stairs leading directly to the ground.

4.3.8 The door leading to the outside of the boiler room should be opened to the outside, and the door leading to the boiler room in the workshop or living room in the boiler room should be opened to the inside of the boiler room.

4.4 Process Layout

4.4. 1 The process layout of the boiler room should ensure the safety and convenience of equipment installation, operation, maintenance and overhaul, and make all kinds of pipelines have short flow and simple structure, so that the area and space of the boiler room can be reasonably and compactly utilized.

4.4.2 In areas where the annual average daily temperature of the building climate is greater than or equal to 25℃ and the number of days is more than 80 days, and there is relatively little rain, the boiler can be arranged in the open air or semi-open air. When the boiler is arranged in the open air or semi-open air, the following requirements shall be met in addition to the provisions in Article 4.4. 1 of this specification:

1 The boiler body and its auxiliary equipment suitable for outdoor layout shall be selected;

2 pipes, valves, instrument accessories, etc. Rain, wind, frost, corrosion and heat loss should be prevented;

3 boiler water level, boiler pressure and other measurement and control instruments should be set in the control room.

4.4.3 When fans, water tanks, deaerating devices, heating devices, dust removal devices, heat accumulators, water treatment devices and other auxiliary equipment and measuring instruments are arranged in the open air, measures such as rainproof, windproof, antifreeze, anti-corrosion and noise prevention should be taken.

Fans in boiler rooms in residential areas should not be arranged in the open air.

4.4.4 Operating platforms between boilers shall be connected with each other. All auxiliary facilities, monitoring and control devices, pipeline valves and other places in the boiler room that need operation and maintenance should be provided with safety platforms and escalators that are easy to operate. The valve can be equipped with a transmission device to guide it to the floor (ground) for operation.

4.4.5 The clearance height of the boiler operation site and passage shall not be less than 2m, and shall meet the requirements of the operating height of lifting equipment. Above the heating parts such as steam drum and economizer, the clearance height can be 0.7m when operation and passage are not needed.

4.4.6 The clear distance between the boiler and the building shall not be less than that specified in Table 4.4.6, and shall meet the following requirements:

1 When the boiler tube needs to be replaced in front of the furnace, the clear distance in front of the furnace should meet the operation requirements. For a steam boiler with a capacity greater than 6t/h or a hot water boiler with a capacity greater than 4.2Mw, when an instrument control room is set in front of the boiler, the clear distance from the front end of the boiler to the instrument control room can be reduced to 3m;

2 When the boiler needs soot blowing, ignition, slag discharge, installation or maintenance of spiral slag remover, the clear distance of the channel should meet the operation requirements; The boiler room equipped with quick-loading boiler should have a passage that can pass smoothly when the boiler is updated as a whole; The distance of the rear passage of the boiler should be determined according to whether the rear smoke box can be rotated and opened.
