In principle, census data are collected electronically. The census taker uses electronic acquisition equipment (PAD or smart phone) to register the information of the census object and report it in real time on the Internet, or the census object fills in the information by itself through the Internet.
Extended data:
Article 36 of the National Census Regulations stipulates that if the census object refuses to provide census data, or provides untrue or incomplete census data, the statistical agency of the people's government at or above the county level shall order it to make corrections and give criticism and education. If the census object obstructs census institutions and census personnel from carrying out census work according to law, which constitutes a violation of public security administration, the public security organ shall punish them according to law.
