Do I need an invitation letter to apply for Kazakhstan passport?

An invitation letter is required to apply for Kazakhstan passport. Applicants must pass the invitation letter with visa registration number issued by Kazakhstan Travel Agency or other institutions certified by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

Visas issued by Kazakhstan's embassies and consulates abroad must be approved by Kazakhstan before they can be issued, so it takes a long time to apply for visas. The application fee is paid in one form and is valid for one month. If the applicant submits the application more than one month after paying the application fee, the previously paid fee will not be refunded and must be paid again. Passengers are requested to pay attention to the application time so as not to delay the trip.

China opens ordinary visas and transit visas to citizens who hold ordinary passports for personal reasons. As visas on arrival are not open, China passport holders must apply for visas at the Kazakh Embassy in China, the Consulate General in Shanghai, the Consulate General in Hong Kong or the Urumqi visa agency according to their household registration.
