Tongsheng Temple Tower is located in Banma Village, Qidu Town, Jiaocheng District, Ningde City. It is a county-level cultural relics protection unit. It was stolen in 2002, and now there are three floors left.
The pagoda of Tongsheng Temple was built in the seventh year of Wudian Tianfu (942). The tower is a pavilion-style solid stone tower with nine octagonal floors and a total height of 7.55 meters. There is an Aquarius pagoda at the top of the tower. There is a relief Buddha sitting on the eight sides of each floor of the tower. The tower base is Sumeru, and the side of the seat is 1.5 meters long. The octagon at the bottom is engraved with patterns, and one relief has lux. 1993 the bottom foundation collapsed and was slightly repaired, but the tower body still tilted.
There are Buddhist niches on all floors and eight sides of the pagoda of Tongsheng Temple. There are various embossed Buddha statues in the niches, which are meticulous and solemn and have obvious local characteristics.
1992, Ningde Municipal People's Government announced Tongsheng Temple Tower as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
