The starting point of Qingdao Jimo connecting line is from Jimo East Interchange of Qinglong Expressway to Hanjialing 18.4 km, of which the existing Heshan Road is 5.2 km from Jimo East Interchange of Qinglong Expressway to Xiaobu East Section, adopting the standard of four-lane first-class highway, with a design speed of 80 km/h and subgrade width of 24.5 m, and the standard of two-lane second-class highway is adopted for the northern section of Binhai Highway to Hanjialing.

According to Pei Xianmin, Minister of Engineering Department of Qinglong Expressway Construction Command, Qingdao section of Qinglong Expressway will set up a viaduct in Chengyang, and the south will be connected with Yin Qing Expressway through Chengyang South Interchange. The trip to the south will land on the east side of Xifu Town Driving School in Chengyang District, and enter Jimo City by ground road.
